Jamnagar is the only place in India where one can find flocks of Crab Plovers. Other birds found here are the Black Necked Stork, Black Ibis, Pheasants tailed Jacana, Black wing stilt, Black winged kite, Demoisele Crane, Purple Moorhen and a lot more.

Keoladeo National Park, Rajasthan Keoladeo National Park, better known as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, is about 5 hours drive from Delhi and an hour’s drive from Agra. The months from November to March are the birding season when travellers in large numbers visit the sanctuary to catch glimpses of dozens of rare birds. The most popular ones are Pelicans, Cranes, Hawk and Pipits.

Manjira Bird Sanctuary, Andhra Pradesh Located in Medak district, the sanctuary is home to more than 70 species of birds and mugger crocodile and fresh water turtles. The birds diversity here include common teal, cotton pygmy goose, ruddy shelduck, barheaded geese, cranes, blackcrowned night heron and Eurasian coot.

Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary, Kerala Situated in the green state of Kerala, the bird sanctuary is home to a huge number of migratory birds like Flycatcher, Siberian Stork, Teal, Crane and Wood Beetle.
