Go exploring in style on the new Endeavour
The name ‘Endeavour’ is synonymous with exploration on the oceans of the world, and Silversea’s newest expedition ship, the Silver Endeavour, continues that trait of embracing new limits. Launching in late 2022 and named in the Lemaire Channel off the Antarctic Peninsula, she is the world’s most luxurious expedition ship with superior ice-class capabilities, coupled with cutting-edge navigation technology. We are impressed with the superb design, industry-high space and service ratios, and expansive suites – you really will travel in ultimate comfort, space, and luxury. Silver Endeavour is in such high demand that Silversea recently unveiled 27 new voyages for the 2024-2025 season, with sailings ranging from six to 21 days. The new sailings include four new voyages to the British Isles and Iceland, nine additional sailings to the Arctic, and 14 voyages to Antarctica. The first two ultra-luxury Nova-class ships – Silver Nova (2023) and Silver Ray (2024) will join the fleet in the next two years. These two ships will be Silversea’s most environmentally friendly ships yet and thanks to their ground-breaking technological solutions, they will propel Silversea into a new era of sustainable cruising. But no matter which Silversea ship you choose, enjoy those precious hours where it is just you, and the sea.

“I did a bucket list trip with Silversea in the High Arctic. We had a Balcony Cabin that had everything we needed including blockout curtains – as it is daylight 24 hours a day in the northern summer. The Expedition Crew took care of everything for you, teaching you to kayak, keeping you safe from polar bears, and even encouraging you to do the Arctic Plunge. Best for: Everything is included – you can leave your wallet at home.” ROSLYN WYATT | TRAVEL ASSOCIATES HAWTHORN, QLD

With ocean, river and expedition ships, the world is your oyster with Viking
Take me to the river
For a quarter of a century, Viking has led the way on river voyages and now has the largest river fleet in the world, sailing all the major river cruising grounds, including the Rhine, Rhône, Seine and Douro in Europe, the Mississippi in the USA, the Nile in Egypt and the Mekong that meanders through Cambodia and Vietnam. In Europe, voyages range from eight to 23 days onboard the award-winning fleet of identical Viking Longships that carry only 190 guests. Choose from a variety of stateroom categories and two-room suites with full-size verandas. A highlight of the Viking Longships is the Aquavit Terrace, the only outdoor restaurant on any river ship in Europe, along with the sophisticated Scandinavian design that wows from the moment you step onboard. The ships have environmentally considerate features, including solar panels, an onboard organic herb garden and energy-efficient hybrid engines. There has been such a demand for Europe departures that in December 2022, Viking announced an additional 81 departure dates in 2023 on three of the most popular river voyages.
