For a totally different safari experience, we highly recommend Namibia, not least because the sweeping landscapes are truly incredible. From the vast dunes of Sossusvlei, go in search of the desert-adapted rhino, and then on to the Skeleton Coast, one of the harshest environs on the planet.
Hire a convertible, put the roof down and drive in style as you explore the rolling hills of Tuscany at your own pace. Drive through idyllic countryside, past vineyards and olive groves; explore fascinating medieval villages, sample fine wine and soak up the culture of Siena and Pienza.
The Alps are brimming with resorts all offering world-class skiing and accommodation. For the ultimate family ski holiday, we recommend Verbier. Its high altitude means snow is pretty much guaranteed in season, the dedicated nursery slopes are great for beginners, and there are many fantastic ski schools for all levels.
