Las Vegas, NV L A S by Brad
Cyn and I were walking around downtown Vegas at 2 or 3 in the morning when we started passing piles of dozens of little rectangular cards strewn over the sidewalk. The second time we passed such a pile, I bent down and picked one up to see what it was. The card was magenta and on the back it had a phone number and said “$80”; when I turned it around to see the front, there was a woman in a bathing suit and a name, supposedly hers. “Wow,” I thought, “I guess we really are in Vegas.” And we were—amid light and bustle and the massive casinos and hotels, advertisements and signs blinked with such slogans as “One hundred beers, all good decisions” and “Dress for less.” Even though the three guys weren’t old enough to gamble, we had a fun time walking in and out of the casinos, which were very grand to see, though some of the tance. At the New York New York Hotel and Casino we went up to the top and rode a roller coaster that swooped out and gave a view of the whole to try something he had wanted to do for a long time. He had wanted for a while to try having spiky white hair like in a Japanese cartoon. You-Myeong and I stopped by a CVS to buy some bleach. We brought it back to front of the mirror in the bathroom. We waited patiently for three hours the bleach turned it bright orange!

Attractions Walking Map Many streets along the Las Vegas Strip require the use of pedestrian bridges to cross, and it can be confusing to get around the Strip without a map showing where elevators are located. The map below marks the locations of overhead walkways on the Vegas Strip. Elevators are located at each end of all overhead walkways to provide wheelchair access. Since the Strip is quite big, walking around can be tiring, and we recommend renting a motorized wheelchair for the elderly or if you tire easily. All hotels located at the Las Vegas Strip are wheelchair accessible and equipped with wheelchair accessible gambling machines. The hotels along the Strip are often well equipped with roll-in showers.
