CARIBBEAN STYLE The Christopher Hotel took refuge on the island of St Barth. Both fashionable and discreet, this green rock is a resort like no other. Here, life flows smoothly between idleness, treats and festivities. No prescribed route but some unavoidable, like a bath on Gouverneur beach, a little shopping in Gustavia, or a drink at Ti’ St Barth. Here, we let ourselves simply driven by desire. North of the island, the road plunges in an invisible bay, turned seaward. It is in this unique environment that the Christopher Hotel, 5 stars, hoisted its sails. Nestled between crystal-like water and Pointe Milou, protected by trade winds, this intimate setting offers astonishing views of the Caribbean Sea and neighboring islands. In 2009, the Pitch Promotion group, owner of the property, redesigned it entirely by imagining a large house with pure and timeless structure. The hotel treated himself to a stunning facelift and became a superb Boutique Hotel. The owners wanted this new “loft” feel as an ideal retreat, hip and casual, easygoing for its guests so that they feel comfortable and come back ... often.

No beach here, the price to pay for tranquility without a doubt, instead a XXL pool. This beautiful stretch of water and large teak terrace, overlooking the ocean are offering a breathtaking view of the bay. Only a few surfers tame the waves at the foot of the hotel. Standing above the sea, we unwind on the outdoor beds, facing the sunset and we let the charm of the place and the laid-back sweetness of St Barth do it’s magic.

OUR REFUGE, ONE OF THE 42 ROOMS, VERY DESIGN The luminous serenity and pure lines of the 42 rooms and suites made with stone, wood, resin or even the gray marble, give them a special elegance and simplicity. Spread over two floors, most rooms extend under the light shade of their terrace. For few others, the magic of disappearing windows lets the landscape in. For all, the Caribbean Sea is at our feet. A true luxury!

In the rooms, beautiful effect of perspective between the bathroom and the living space by a set of blinds tailored according to needs. The suites, on the other hand, looks like a real home with audacious volumes. For decoration, the hotel uses such beautiful signatures as Italian designers Gervasoni and Paola Lenti, the Dutch Piet Boon or the industrial design of Flos. The bathrooms seem to have been carved into the stone on which freshwater pearls from the tropical shower. Wrapped in Egyptian cotton sheets, we fall asleep to the rhythm of the waves and wake up with the sound of rustling palms.

THE TASTE OF PARADISE
This is in Brazil, his native country, that Lucas LEONARDI studied gastronomy. He made his debut at the luxurious GOLF HOTEL, and then the famous BISTRO on Oscar Freire street in SÃO PAULO. His curiosity and passion lead him to France, where it will join the ranks of Chef Gregory BALLAND at “LA FORESTIERE” (4 Stars Relais & Chateaux) , the gourmet restaurant of hotel Cazaudehore. He spent some time at the SENDERENS (2 Stars), Place de la Madeleine in PARIS, before entering the institution of the "Cercle des Grandes Maisons Corsicans." First at the restaurant in LA VILLA (5 Stars Relais & Châteaux) in CALVI, then at the hotel's 4 Stars THE BELVEDERE PORTO-VECCHIO, both Michelin-starred. Our young chef is open to the world, always in search of new flavors. He finds his inspiration in Brazil and South America, but also in Asia where he experienced cuisine simple but rich in discoveries. At the CHRISTOPHER he shares his culinary journeys, while revisiting local products. It offers fine dining and a mixed menu, executed with great love. The two restaurants at the Christopher Hotel, wide open to the sea, play the Caribbean fusion. The Taino welcomes guests for breakfast and dinner, and Mango, feet in the sand, a few meters from the prodigious pool (the largest on the island), is open for lunch. At sunset, the bar comes alive and offers its tropical cocktail selection, to savor in the lounge facing the reflection of the moon on the ocean or in the company of one of the many books on art and design in the library.
