From beach bars to five stars, Empty Nestopia discovers adventures when the kids are grown and

flown

About Empty Nestopia Empty Nestopia is all about showing empty nesters how to discover life and adventure after the kids have grown and flown. Empty Nestopia is a portal sharing ideas about how to explore the world, find the unique, the romantic, and the fantastic experiences that will put the fun back in life and keep them young-at-heart. My followers want to rediscover life and adventure. My followers are couples, singles, pre-empty nesters from all backgrounds and walks of life. The majority of her followers travel 2-4 times a year both within the US and internationally. Roughly a quarter of her followers are full-time nomads that use her advice on which destinations to visit and what to do and where to eat while there. My followers are interested in wineries, distilleries, and restaurants that participate or complete full agicircles - grain-to-glass, farm-to-table, blossom-to-bottle. Her followers are interested in off-the-path locations and adventures that they can learn from and/or use to give back.

About Me Heralding from the far northern state of Alaska, I was always outside doing something, whether it was wrestling pigs on the farm, running a small dog sled team, fishing for 60 lb. King Salmon or just hiking through the woods trying to avoid bears. I swam with sea lions in Espiritu Santo, La Paz, Mexico. I got lost in Venice to discover it. I sailed the coasts of Alaska and snow machined its backcountry. I zip-lined through tropical rainforests and flown a WWII plane in a mock ‘dog-fight.' I expose my followers to diverse activities, cultures and unique foods that expand their horizons. I challenge them to get out and explore. I pursue ways to get involved in locations . I do my best to live and travel with purpose. I seek stories to share that will encourage my followers to do the same.
