algudi is a well-known and wellloved authentic South Indian restaurant at Marathahalli. Named after RK Narayan’s iconic book Malgudi Days, the restaurant is 15 years old and has been catering to its patrons with lip-smacking South Indian cuisine that ranges across all the four southern states. The heritage ambience of the restaurant is a throwback to an old Chettinad home with checkered tiles and a swing on the left with intricately carved magnificent doors. Tanjore paintings on the walls, wooden carvings all around, steel vessels and banana leaves for serving food all come together to bring out the rich cultural heritage of the South.
