Malgudi is a well-known and wellloved authentic South Indian restaurant at Marathahalli. Named after RK Narayan’s iconic book Malgudi Days, the restaurant is 15 years old and has been catering to its patrons with lip-smacking South Indian cuisine that ranges across all the four southern states.

The heritage ambience of the restaurant is a throwback to an old Chettinad home with checkered tiles and a swing on the left with intricately carved magnificent doors. Tanjore paintings on the walls, wooden carvings all around, steel vessels and banana leaves for serving food all come together to bring out the rich cultural heritage of the South.

Malgudi serves authentic South Indian

cuisine of the four southern regions and has been a pioneer in te unique culinary styles and recipes in the four south states. Apart from sublime taste and traditional dishes as well as contemporary favourite menu items, high standard, quality and hygiene are given utmost priority at the restaurant.

You could start your meal with the bonda sharbat, the perfect drink for a summer lunch, as it has the coolness of coconut, tangy lime with mint and honey that makes it a prefect refreshing drink.

Switch over to succulent delicious starters like mutton sukka, prawn fry, chicken 65, fish fry and lots more variety of items in veg and non-veg both.

In main course too there is plenty of choice like nati kodi pullusu- country chicken curry, Malabar meen curry, ragi balls with mutton curry, fish curry, jholar roti, neer dosa with chicken curry, appam with coconut based stew and a host of other delectable Southern specialities.

For desserts, you can choose from Chettinad carrot halwa, gulab jamun, ice creams and several other all time favourite sweet dishes.
