Harpa is one of Reykjavik‘s greatest landmarks. Harpa is a cultural and social centre in the heart of the city where it poses majestically by Reykjavik harbour. Harpa is a destination for foreign and domestic travellers and an award-winning artwork that has welcomed over 3 million guests since its opening, May 4, 2011.

Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre offers the best facilities for concerts and conferences north of Alpine mountains. Harpa has received numerous awards and prizes. Harpa was chosen one of the best concert halls of the new millennium by the prestigious music magazine Gramophone magazine and was chosen the best performance venue in 2011 by Travel & Leisure magazine.

HAFNARHUS ART MUSEUM Hafnarhus, located in downtown Reykjavik, serves as the Reykjavik Art Museum’s institute of contemporary art. New developments in art are explored through diverse exhibitions of Icelandic and international artists. An exhibition of paintings by the Pop artist Erró is a permanent feature. Hafnarhús has a restaurant with a beautiful view over the harbour. There is a selection of foreign and local newspapers, art magazines and professional journals. The Hafnarhús shop offers local and foreign books about works of art and exhibition programmes, published by the museum, in addition to postcards and art posters.
IÐUSALIR Idusalir has halls on two floors that can be used for separate functions or together for bigger events. The upper floor opens out to a roof garden of 200 square meters. Idusalir supplies all equipment needed for presentations: Projectors,sound system, whiteboards and anything else you might need. The award winning catering staff at Idusalir are also quick to provide and they will make sure every detail is to your hearts desire.
HELLISHEIDARVIRKJUN The Hellisheiði geothermal power plant is located in an area known to be popular with travelers in earlier times for resting and refreshment. That tradition is kept alive at Café Energy, located on the main floor, where you can enjoy light refreshments.
INGOLFSKALI Authentically designed in the style of the original turf-roofed longhouses the restaurant is an unusual and impressive reminder of Iceland’s past. Welcome Named in honour of Iceland’s first settler, Ingólfur Arnarson, Ingólfsskáli is located at the foot of Ingólfsfjall a scenically beautiful area amidst the mountains of southern Iceland.
IÐNÓ The Iðnó restaurant is located in the heart of the city of Reykjavík, beside the City Pond, directly opposite the City Hall. The Iðnó restaurant welcomes groups of 20–120 to dine in one of the city’s most historic buildings - an interesting one to look around, with a history well worth investigating. Iðnó was built in 1897 and reconstructed in its original form in 1997. It remains as it was in 1897, testament to the grand vision of Iceland’s artisans. At Iðnó, we also offer a first-class events service and see to all the extras such as flower arrangements and help with planning so the day will be as pleasant as possible. The Iðnó staff members are professionals with decades of experience in catering and events services. All of the food and drink is supplied by the Iðnó gourmet kitchen, offering a varied menu for all occasions. The theatre hall can accommodate up to 120 people for seated dining and 300 for standing receptions. The second level of Iðnó features a restaurant accommodating up to 60 people for seated dining and 80–100 for standing receptions. Here you will find the Iðnó art collection, comprising paintings by most of Iceland’s greatest painters of the twentieth century: Jóhannes Kjarval, Ásgrímur Jónsson, Jón Stefánsson and Jóhann Bríem to name but a few. On the third level is the saloon. Here you can enjoy an aperitif to your meal in the restaurant or simply indulge in coffee and brandy in this delightful saloon full of antique curiosities. The saloon is also well suited to receptions for up to 50 people.

VIÐEYJARSTOFA Viðey is an island situated just few minutes from Reykjavík city by ferry. The island is the perfect place for individuals, friends and families wanting to enjoy a relaxing but also adventurous getaway from the city life. The house is well suited for meetings, conferences, birthday parties, Icelandic christmas buffet, wedding parties and functions of all sorts. The upper floor is a spacious hall, comfortable for 130 guests. The first floor is devided into several small rooms, suitable for 10-25 people each.

Laugardalshöll is an indoor sporting arena located in Reykjavík, Iceland. The capacity of the arena is 5,500 people.
The Radisson Blu 1919 Hotel, Reykjavik occupies a central position in Iceland’s capital, conveniently located near many cultural attractions and beautiful natural sights as well as public transportation and the airport.
Aside from sporting events, it is to day the largest concert venue in Iceland, with capacity of 11,000 people in one hall.
The 88 rooms are designed around the architecture of the historic building and combine hardwood floors and rich, dark fabrics with amenities like free high-speed, wireless Internet, video-on-demand and coffee and tea provisions. The 1919 Restaurant serves fresh, seasonal dishes crafted from local ingredients, and the 1919 Lounge offers a cosy place to have a drink or light meal. This upscale Reykjavik hotel also includes a fitness centre, dry cleaning services and three meetings rooms with up-to-date audiovisual equipment.
It hosts various sporting events, such as handball, basketball, volleyball and athletics, as well as for other events.
Aside from sports and music events, it serves as a general purpose hall for all manner of events. Perhaps the most prominent event to be held at Laugardalshöll was the World Chess Championship 1972, often dubbed the “Match of the Century”, in which American challenger Bobby Fischer defeated the Russia champion Boris Spassky. Another important event one was the “National Assembly”, first step of the constitutional reform process. It gathered 1000 citizens, randomly picked in the national register. Held on November 6, 2010, for only one day, it produced a document listing the main principles of the islandic nation. From 2007 to 2011, it also hosted CCP’s EVE Online annual ‘Fanfest’
