So this is the time when I decide to visit the country India, specially the Golden Triangle (Delhi-Agra-Jaipur) . Now I share my Golden Triangle detailed trip on day basis with you all.. Day 01: 05th Feb, 2017: Delhi Arrival After the long day flight from United Kingdom, I Arrived Delhi at Indra Gandhi International Airport. There I was received and assisted by Travelsite India’s representative and guided me to my defined hotel. After checking into the Hotel, I relaxed Overnight in Hotel at Delhi.
Overnight, stay at the hotel Day 02: 06th Feb, 2017: Delhi Sightseeing After having a nice sleep I wake up in the morning with full enthusiasm to start my GT trip (Delhi – Agra Jaipur). Before I left Delhi, I had to visit few places in Delhi.
India Gate: India Gate originally called the All India War Memorial, was 42m high, an "Arc-de-Triomphe" like archway located in the middle of a crossroad at New Delhi. India Gate was built as a memorial to commemorate 70,000 India soldiers who were killed in World War I. It was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931. India Gate depicted a gesture in memory of the Indian soldiers who laid their lives in the 1971 war. Akshardham Temple: The temple is situated near the banks of Yamuna River and considered to be the Largest Hindu Temple in the World. The temple was built in 2005 in a way similar to the Akshardham temple in Gujarat Sansad Bhawan (Parliament) & Rashtrapati Bhawan (President House): The Parliament of India is a circular building supported by 257 granite pillars. The Sansad Bhawan was designed by the British architect Herbert Baker in 1912–13. Rashtrapati Bhawan also known as the Residence of President of India or President House. The building was completed in 1929 at a cost of 12,53,000 pound sterling and inaugurated in 1931. Jama Masjid: Masjid-i Jahān-Numā the largest mosque of India, It is one of the last architectural works of the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as it was built in between 1644 to 1658. . Jama Masjid is usually the place of gathering for Eid prayers and Friday prayers.
Qutub Minar: At 72.5 meters, the 13th century Qutub Minar is the world's tallest brick minaret. It was commissioned by Qutb-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate in 1192 AD. Only the first story was completed by Qutub-ud-din. The other stories were built by his successor Iltutmish. Delhi is a city where ancient and modern blend seamlessly together. It was a great experience of mine visiting various monuments, temples and historical places. After such a great day, I was taken back to my hotel and made me relax by the special arrangement in the hotel. I had a healthy and good dinner and then start my journey again but now that was in my dream.
Day 03: 07th Feb, 2017: Delhi – Agra The enthusiasm made me wake early in the morning. I had my Breakfast in the hotel itself check out from the hotel for Agra. The drive was great as I had an English speaking guide so I was keep on talking with him. I was so indulged in the stories and experience that he was sharing with me that the 237 km journey that took around 3-4 hrs was like covered very fast. After reaching The Agra, I was directly taken to the hotel and told me to get refreshed so that I can have some sightseeing in the evening. In the evening I was taken to visit Agra Fort and Baby Taj.
Agra fort: It is the fine example of Mughal Architecture that stretches about 2.5 km situated on the banks of river Yamuna. Agra Fort is a complex structure with 20 m high red walls. It is a symbol of power, strength and resilience.
Baby Taj: Baby Taj is often describe as “Jewel Box” or “Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah” is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is often regarded as a draft of the Tāj Mahal.
Later evening I saw the Sunset view of Agra Taj Mahal and do some Shopping at local market. After that I went to hotel and again the dream journey started. Overnight, stay at the hotel Day 04: 08th Feb, 2017: Agra – Via Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur As I saw the Sunset view of Taj Mahal yesterday then the sunrise view was also popular. I woke early morning and proceed to saw Sunrise View of Taj Mahal and move back to hotel Taj Mahal:- Taj Mahal is counted among the Seven Wonders of the World, attracts millions of travelers to Agra to have a look at this timeless beauty. The Taj Mahal in Agra is undeniably the most famous example of Mughal architecture. Portrayed by Rabindranath Tagore as "a tear on the substance of time everlasting", it is in popular imagination a veritable “wonder of the world”. Later I drove to Jaipur via visiting Fatehpur Sikri Fatehpur Sikri
Enrooted:- Buland Darwaza (Fatehpur Sikri): Buland Darwaza is a 15-storied high gateway that faced the Northeastern entrance of the city of Fatehpur Sikri. The structure stands 43 meters on the pedestal above the ground. Now I continued my journey via road to Jaipur --When I arrived Jaipur and checked in the hotel and do some rest in the hotel. After some rest I was free to explore the local market … Later came back to the hotel and stay was in leisure.

Day 05: 09th Feb, 2017: Jaipur Sightseeing This was the 5th day of my journey and I was in Jaipur. After delicious morning breakfast I check out from the hotel and started my drive for Jaipur Sightseeing… Amer City Palace & Fort: Amer Fort and Palace is located in Amer and was originally built by Raja Man Singh and subsequently developed by Sawai Jai Singh. It is the principal tourist attraction in the Jaipur area. The major attractions are Sheela Devi Temple, Sheesh Mahal & Jai Garh Fort.
Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds): Hawa Mahal is the most strikingly designed and prominent tourist attractions in Jaipur city. The Palace of Winds was built by the King Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799.
Jal Mahal: The Jal Mahal is also known as Water Palace and located in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The Palace was developed as a pleasure spot. Jantar Mantar - This is the largest and the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. It is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, completed in 1734 CE.

In the evening I went to Chowkhi dhani – an artificially made village depicting culture of Rajasthan on direct payment basis and stayed Overnight in Jaipur.

Day 06: 10th Feb, 2017: Jaipur – Delhi [Surface 281 Kms / 5.4Hrs] After the great dinner at Chowki Dhani, I wake up and had a healthy breakfast. Now it was the time to say bye to the capital of Royal Rajasthan drove to Delhi. When I reached Delhi I did some shopping in the local markets and again went back to my hotel in the late evening. Now in the night I feel very happy and recall the great moments of my journey. Later on the same day I was taken to the IGI Airport in Delhi to board the flight for my way back to home.
