Mexico Anticipates Growth in Tourism

Bahamas
The European Commission announced that European citizens will soon be able to travel to Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, St. KittsNevis, Mauritius Island, Barbados and Seychelles without a visa. Every year, 800,000 European tourists travel to those countries.The agreement, which as Commission Spokesman for Justice Michele Cercone explained, “is still to be signed,” will allow the Europeans and the nationals from those six countries to travel from one region to another without a visa.
Grand Prix Regatta in Santo Domingo The 6th Grand Prix transatlantic regatta, which will set off from the Spanish port of Cadiz, will have Santo Domingo as its destination point in January 2010, according to the local Ministry of Tourism. The ministry highlighted that the dozens of navigators who will arrive in the capital of the Dominican Republic will contribute to the promotion and development of the booming tourist nautical sector in the country.
