Mountain Range. The Ness Island Walk is another popular tourist destination, offering trail walkers a chance to experience nature along beautiful, maintained trails. Walk, hike or cycle along these trails and more to experience the Scottish Highlands up close.

Visitors from all over the world flock to Inverness for easy access to the famous Loch Ness (left). For nearly 100 years the beautiful waterfront has been subject to much speculation. In 1933 the first sightings of the alleged “Loch Ness Monster” were reported, immediately stirring wonder and imagination. Since then, visitors have filled hotels in Inverness and spent their days out on the Loch to try and catch a glimpse of the mythical creature.

Inverness is surrounded by stunning landscapes, but inside the city lies a wealth of art, culture and cuisine.
