Nightlife If you remember the original ‘Queer As Folk’ TV series, then surely you will recognise Canal Street, the centre of the Gay Village. This liveliest area in the city has a number of cafés, bars and clubs, and a great time is guaranteed for anybody! Transport Though it might look complicated at the first glance, transportation in Manchester is fairly easy. Always get a return ticket for, and if travelling often, buy a day ticket to save money. Get off at Piccadilly Station for the Gay Village.
