Testimonies of those who traveled: “My stay with local families allowed me not only to get to learn about extraordinarily rich Mapuche culture and history, but also to observe and participate in their daily lives and enjoy a novel and delicious cuisine. Long walks through the majestic Araucaria forests with views of snowcapped volcanos, early morning canoeing on the lake Budi, and many other activities provided a spectacular setting for engaging conversations with these friendly, proud, and brave people.” -Tomislav Rimac
