Animal Stories of the Southwest

Animal Stories of the Southwest Who doesn’t love a good animal story? Oral traditions from cultures around the world are chock-full of animals. But the standard-bearer is Native American tradition. Why? Because Native stories come from a living, vibrant belief system based on a mutually beneficial relationship with the natural world that has resonated for thousands of years. And it continues to this day. Look inside for some funny, wise, sometimes naughty, always wonderful beasts.
