Looking at Treat DAO over 2023, the year has been brimming with signiﬁcant developments that have left a mark on our entire community. As we near the end of 2023 it is an appropriate time to conduct a retrospective analysis, examining the journey so far traveled, before we look ahead to 2024. By putting on our metaphorical 'pink goggles,' we can peer toward the economic horizon that awaits us for the remainder of this year and the early stages of 2024. This evaluation is especially relevant for our dynamic community, our council leadership, and token investors, as their roles and contributions continue to shape the trajectory of Treat DAO's forward momentum.

A New Treat Council

We are very pleased to announce the new Council, voted in to serve from July 1st, 2023 to represent and govern the DAO.

The council members are: Sae Phantom - Council Chair Mofdi LEG - Joint Community Communications PolyAnnie - Head of Creator Relations Dan Evans - Founding member of Treat and the “Devan” creative group Rob Sloane - Editor and Content Creator for the Magazine Treat DAO is run by a diverse mix of creators and team members. A merry group of men and women with a wealth of experience in the Web3, NFT, and adult content creation space. The Council’s success can be measured by implementing policies and taking steps to ensure safeguards and protocols exist to protect the project. To promote and improve brand engagement, and ensure the steady growth of the community. This Treat ecosystem is the focus of the project and is constantly evolving and adding new features, such as Treat News, and the Ethereum Bridge. It is the strength of our user community that drives this innovation and growth. We aim to create a self-sustaining ecosystem that provides value to all our stakeholders. The council board membership rotates and new members are elected every six months by the Treat DAO community.

Ethereum Bridge In late September the $Treat token experienced a signiﬁcant value event, due to malpractice on the Ethereum Bridge accounts, which fortunately was caught very quickly by our contract experts and resolved in a matter of hours. The $Treat token is stable and we anticipate the Bridge being restored early next year. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our investors in the meantime.

The year 2023 set the blueprint for sustainability, resilience, and growth for the coming year ahead. Treat will build out from here with strategies and initiatives that promise to soar above the formidable foundation of the $token, our ecosystem, our investors, our community, and our creators. This roadmap is more than a mere intention; it's a manifestation of our Council and our teams’ relentless commitment to enhancing, expanding, and fortifying the Treat DAO community. Here are the proposals for a brighter, happier, pinker DAO in 2024:

A Treat Marketing Team As we grow the ecosystem and the brand, we want to expand on the proﬁtability of the services and products we have to offer as well as improve engagement with our audience. The team is proposing to pivot more towards Treat marketing, brand awareness, advertising sales, and specialist advertorial content and media. Especially by reaching out and joining forces with potential Web3 projects and community partners, like Front Fanz and Galactica. This team is likely to be made up of existing Treat members wearing different hats for now as we are fortunate to have experienced and talented marketing people in our DAO.

Token Bridges and Exchanges The Ethereum Bridge test proved to be a success. It is currently suspended but will be back online in 2024. It showed that we could look at expanding on the great potential of our $treat token and build and deploy contract upgrades and improvements. Our proposal for 2024 and beyond is to continue developing our blockchain technologies and bridge to more smart chains. At the same time expand the adoption of our token onto other exchanges. Our commitment is to increase the opportunity to utilize $treat, as well as expand the potential for token investors and grow the market value overall.

Treat Merchandise The potential for Treat merchandise is huge, especially as we continue to take center stage at Crypto and NFT events and conventions. We are proposing to offer more specialized branded merch at these events through our representatives and creators, and our partnerships with other projects and communities. We’d like to focus through 2024 on expanding on what is available through the Treat Store online including T-shirts, Caps, Trading Cards, Stickers, a Calendar, NFT/Art/Photo Posters, and Printable editions of the celebrated Treat Magazine.

Staking - A Melon Farm V2 The Melon Farms are a popular feature for investing in $Treat and enjoying some exclusive benefits in return. relentless pursuit of justice in highly-rated television series like "Forensic Files" and "America's Most Wanted," our collective fascination with the shocking, depraved, and gruesome is more palpable than ever. Yet, this ﬁxation on the tragedy of humanity preying on each other extends beyond the screen, creeping into the pages of best-seller books that recount in forensic and eye-witness narratives the darkest chapters of human history. It's a fascination that peers into the abyss of our collective psyche, probing the tangled web of emotions, obsessions, and fears that lie within us all. As we embark on a journey into the heart of the "Real Horror," phenomena we aim to uncover the unsettling truth about what it says about our society, our laws, our media, and maybe our own lives, well-being, and happiness.
