WELCOME

The 2020 Parade of Homes presents a watershed for the Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans—throughout our 75 years presenting the Parade, this one is remarkably different. The COVID-19 outbreak in our communities forced us to shelter behind the four walls that we depend on to keep us safe. Throughout this crisis, our homes have been the foundation for our safety. As we return to our pre-COVID routines, we invite you to view the most exceptional homes Greater New Orleans has to offer. Our home builders are showcasing cutting-edge trends including Wellness Within Your Walls, energy efficiency, and a more connected home. We are well-prepared to meet and exceed the hurdles COVID-19 presents to the parade. We are implementing CDC guidelines and safety precautions for the 21 homes open to the public. Additionally, we are proud to utilize virtual tours for each home-- and four homes that will be exclusively online. Attendees will be able to walk through the homes with easy access on our app, which will be available on smartphones or online through a computer. The virtual tour will provide key details regarding each home and the four homes not available for in-person visits. We want to remind attendees that the four virtual-only homes have happy families living in them now, and we please ask that you enjoy visiting these homes from the mobile app. Our home builders are eager to meet you in-person, with proper safety procedures, and through our online platform.
