I grew up right here in Union County, where I attended both Monroe and Parkwood High Schools. I married my high school sweetheart, Andrea Fields. We both attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where I earned a B.S. in Information Systems and she obtained a degree in Molecular Biology. Prior to entering the real estate business, I was a successful software developer and project manager for national manufacturing, service, and logistics companies throughout the US. We lived in Chapel Hill after college – which is where I got started in Real Estate -- but moved back home to Union County to start our family in 2006. Andrea and I live in the Historic District of Downtown Monroe, with our four year old daughter Lily (who thinks she’s already 18) and our new baby Samson. Hello, I’m Lloyd Trimble, Owner and Buyer Specialist at R.W. Price & Associates. I grew up in Mars, Pennsylvania, a small town in the North Hills of Pittsburgh. In high school, I began working for ClubCorp of America at Treesdale Golf and Country Club. I continued with ClubCorp until 2002 and held management positions at locations in Pennsylvania and Virginia. In 1999, while still working for ClubCorp, I earned my Pennsylvania State Real Estate Salesperson’s License and actively sold properties from Pittsburgh to Slippery Rock. After leaving ClubCorps, I held management positions with Outback Steakhouses and Lowe’s Home Improvement Centers. In 2005, I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and returned to real estate, first as an office assistant, then as a licensed agent, and now as a broker. I currently live in Stonebridge, near Mineral Springs, with my significant other. We love it here so much that we relocated my parents and sister to the area so that they can enjoy all the amenities the area has to offer. I am licensed in both North and South Carolina and have participated in over 325 transactions since 2006. As a former department manager for Lowe’s, I have a solid understanding of construction issues. My construction background has earned me the title of New Home Specialist. I grew up in the Union County area and graduated from Sun Valley High School in 1980. I began working for United Carolina Bank and continued until 1987. That’s when I started my career in Real Estate by working as an office manager and bookkeeper for three large Real Estate firms in the Charlotte and Union County areas. In 1998, I opened my Real Estate Closing Coordination business working with Buyers and Sellers to bring their home purchase or sale to a successful closing. The Town of Weddington encompasses about 17 square miles, and is approximately 15 miles southeast of Charlotte and 14 miles northwest of Monroe. By the 1970's with Charlotte expansion, it wasn't long before fertile farmlands began to give way to new Subdivisions, SUVs, and "Beamers". Incorporated in 1983 and now 29 years old, the area remains committed to remembering its rich history and keeping the spirit and character of Olde Weddington alive for future generations. Wesley Chapel can be linked to a rural meeting place in the early 1800's, known as The McWhorter Campground. It was established on a slight rise overlooking Potter Road South a little over a mile to the south of where Wesley Chapel Road ends today. The Wesley Chapel Vicinity, in the late 1890’s was much better known as the community of Price’s Mill. Wesley Chapel School became the first accredited rural high school in Union County and one of the first in North Carolina -- that tradition of prominent and strong schools continues in 2012.
