Now let's get into some Real Estate stats for August 2022...all stats are in comparison to last August 2021.
Residential Markets saw a 15% increase in home sales, at an average of $439,728. Homes are sitting on inventory for 29 days before selling, which is up 26%. The number of new listings went up to 329, a small increase of 8% and the number of sales were down 8% at 252. Active listings were up 46% and sold for 98.2% of asking price.
With more homes on the market, and selling for just about asking price, this can be a great opportunity to look at buying a new home. Selling is still ideal in the current market as well. So it could be a win-win.
