I LOVE THAT SOUND. That first crunch of leaves underfoot sends a sharp and clear-cut signal to the senses that the autumn season has begun. This is a season that I, personally, look forward to more than any other. The brilliant sight of nature’s kaleidoscope, the scent of the musky harvest, the sound of those dry fallen leaves… add in the cooler weather and shorter days and the signs are all there that nature is getting set for a much-needed pause.
