The quarterly publication is a proposal that focuses on art, politics and provocation in which the theater and its relation with contemporary themes provide the bases for research, debate and content development. Considering art as a process of the construction of knowledge coupled with an analytic viewpoint of today’s world, the TREMA! Revista profile focuses on artistic and aesthetic languages with emphasis on theatrical research and its complimentary languages: academic, journalistic (cultural journalism) and internet communication. The publications target audience is not only its peers of the performing arts: researchers, artists, teachers, directors, curators, critics, playwrights, etc., but a broader range of people interested in art but also in a more profound and disquieting worldview.
