I Shine More Mag: where are you from? Anubis: The Yard Part Of West Philly, 52nd Street I Shine More Mag: What hidden talents do you have? Anubis: Hmmmm like other than making music? I'm pretty good with computer skills and i'm learning how to cook from my big brother, he chef's. I Shine More Mag: Do you have videos out now? Or Any upcoming show's? Anubis: All my videos out now are little 'whatever' videos that we just threw together. The real ones are on the way. And I made a promise to myself that i wont do any more shows until I have better material that i'm more comfortable with. Sneaker Pimps '12, my last show, was pretty cool though. I Shine More Mag: today's music is about collabrations what "hot" artist's out now, Who have you collabed with so far and who would you like to collab with? Anubis: Hmmmm , not that big on Collabs at the moment other than singers. But i have worked with Philly Swain, Reed Dollaz, Sandman and My Brother Dev Ultra I Shine More Mag:Who are your musical inspirations? Anubis: Eminem, Kanye West... That's all haha I Shine More Mag: Are there any producers you would like to work with? Anubis: Yeah, but it's a pretty long list. I'm actually open to work with ANY producer who can make a beat that does not have a slow ass trap BPM. I Shine More Mag: Are you signed to any label? If not, what record labels would you sign with? Anubis: Not really a label, But LegendBound, That's the family, the people who i do everything with musically. I Shine More Mag:What is your ultimate goal at the end of your career? Anubis: To sleep i guess, I don't really know where there would be an 'end' per say. I Shine More Mag:What unique experience or qualifications separate you from other candidates Anubis: I don't rap about stuff I don't have and I don't make music with the expectation to have it on the radio, I do it freely to express myself and share my voice. I Shine More Mag:What motivates you? How do you motivate others? Anubis: Positive Reactions motivate me and I relay them to others to show them how to elevate themselves. I Shine More Mag: What do you want people to know about You? Anubis: Everything i want them to know is deeply entailed in all of my music.. every song is a piece of me, whether it's tragedies, heartbreaks or it's heartwarming; it's all a piece of who i am and what i represent...
music is essential to life Without music i would be dead my music makes me feel like i can never reach perfection because one I reach the highest point of the hill i only see the shadows of mountains.

DARE 2 BE DIFFERENT! In the ‘WORLD’ we live in, we too loosely use the word “NORMAL.” What does the word normal mean? Everyone has their own interpretation of what “NORMAL” means. Now a person can look it up in a Dictionary, what normal means and everyone would have there own response to the word. What you might think is normal to you might be different to another individual, and might even be weird. How far would you go to DARE 2 BE DIFFERENT, or how far would you go to fit in ? When I hear the word normal I think of different? Everyone was created to be different, uniquely made, perfect in his or her own way, that’s just it! The saying” opposites attracts”, really is true! Think about it for a moment two negatives can’t work because they are the same, and vise versa for positives, but when you get one negative and one positive it attracts itself together to one another and then BOOM!; it takes off. The way I look at it is there is no such thing as normal! The world petrays this illusion that isn’t even tangelable. There are all types of different walks of life here on Earth that can’t just be boxed into one idea, thought, perception, way of life, and how you perceive things.I live to DARE 2 BE DIFFERENT, I like that I have my own way of thinking than how society wants me to think and respond. I look at it as coming out of your shell! All my life I was looked at as being the oddball, the one that stood out, didn’t fit in. When I was a youngster I didn’t understand that this is who I was made, heck created to be, DARE 2 BE DIFFERENT, take on a good challenge when it was do. I have my own swag and it’s not like the celebrities(not biase) look or fashion, to tell you the truth yes I would shop at a second hand store and buy a Dooney bag, at a great steal! Yeah that’s me and I stand proud because I DARE TO BE DIFFERENT! I hope that this will help inspire you to be you, and rock, talk, think, live how you dare! Go ahead and pimp that fro, for show!, haha, be you, don’t listen to the really silent hater’s because thats what they are. One day they are looking weird because you came to church with some printed fish net panty holes, and one year later they’re rocking the first pair of your collection to church? WOW? Did I start that? First it was nasty looks, but now I have mini me’s ha! What would it take for you to DARE 2 BE DIFFERENT? Sincerely by Day Dinkins, Love

CORECMD yes I have a few videos out I have down the highway money which is one of my first videos and a follow up video on Vimeo called Trappin in the county. But those where beginning stages the videos that are soon to drop show my fans and following the maturity and growth of myself as an artist. I don't have any upcoming shows locally but I have 3 tours n constant contact with me. One is with king Los and the other is a black college tour mostly takin places in the southern states of Alabama Louisiana and Florida. I ll keep my schedule posted via Facebook and twitter @corecmd for everything except Facebook which is my other half Coreaga. I Shine More Mag: today's music is about collabrations what "hot" artist's out now, Who have you collabed with so far and who would you like to collab with? CORECMD Um, if I could collab with any "hot" artist right now surprisingly enough I would say I would wanna work with August Alsina he got dis downtown song that I shoulda been on the original version. But as I put in work I would eventually work wit the greats such as Hov of course followed by people like Yo Gotti Jeezy T.I. my homie Future and I can't forget my boy Ace Hood. So far I worked wit Lee Mazin Shizz Nitty ova Delaware my boy Mel Love and Young Pooh Kre Forch just to name a few. I Shine More Mag:Who are your musical inspirations? CORECMD I'm inspired by my father Prince Badi because he left a Legacy behind for me to maintain and I'm not gonna let him or my family down. I think the hoods reactions to my music inspires me musically also. I love it when people jump and my car when I'm bangin my new music and they jump out reciting it that's inspiration and certification. I Shine More Mag: Are there any producers you would like to work with? CORECMD I feel like I have the best producers right here. I work wit JV and Cooley and I make hits off of their beats. Idk they just make me turn up. I'm Gucci wit them two talented young brothers right dere. I Shine More Mag: Are you signed to any label? If not, what record labels would you sign with? CORECMD Currently I'm not signed to any label at the moment. I desire to start my own label The Way for my Highway Gang movement. But if I had offers from everyone hmmm... It would depend on who could do the most for my future. Being as though I have a family tupe of relationship with people down the A I might have to ride wit my boy Future and Freeband Gang it. In the meantime ima keep working till God open up the gates. I Shine More Mag:What is your ultimate goal at the end of your career? CORECMD The ultimate goal at the end of my career would be putting on a the small city of Camden showing the youth how they could change theirs direction by accomplishing they goals with limited opportunities. I wanna be able to travel around the world doing shows then be able to help come back to my hood and rebuild nation. I Shine More Mag:What unique experience or qualifications separate you from other candidates CORECMD Just take a look at me. U see the movies in the form if scars. Google my name u see wut comes up. I been everywhere from down the highway to any hood n the tristate and I'm respected on various levels. People accepted me as a person before they even knew I could rap that's wut seperates me. I'm all around living soul versus dese zombies. Just being competent alone puts me notches above the majority. I Shine More Mag:What motivates you? How do you motivate others? CORECMD I'm motivated by success at the end of the day. Me and my team motivate one another (Rilla Priest JV Has Dant and Sheez). I motivate others by demonstrating consistency hard work and being myself. People see me putting in work and makin progress they look at me like "oh I gotta turn up..." So I gotta stay on my game cause its people that want it how I want it. I Shine More Mag: What do you want people to know about You? CORECMD: I just want people to know Im cool as hell I like to have a good time see people laughing enjoying life cause its too short. People dropping left and right out here. We gotta really wake up and come together and win as a whole.
Without music i would be Prolly dead or incarcerated music is My life my music makes me feel Like I gotta be on the radio or being heard in the club

I Shine More Mag: Where are you from? Phoenix:I’m from Camden, NJ. I grew up in the Whitman Park section of the city. I Shine More Mag: What hidden talents do you have? Phoenix I played the saxophone, I was a DJ for my middle school dances, and song write. People know about me from the rapping standpoint, but I have done various things. I am a person who likes to be versatile in whatever I do. . I Shine More Mag: Today's music is about collabrations what "hot" artist's out now, who would you like to collab with? Phoenix I would like to collab with anybody. I’m always looking to work with new people and expand in my craft. I Shine More Mag: Who are your musical inspirations? Phoenix Nas, Jay Z & Bob Marley. I look back at where they started, the work and determination they put in to make their dreams happen and now all 3 of them are legends. I Shine More Mag: Are there any producers you would like to work with? Phoenix I want to work with as many people as possible, but Pharrell and the Neptunes would be my first choice. I like how their beats are different and they can make pretty much any type of beat. I also want to work with Swizz Beatz, Kanye West, Timbaland & Alchemist just to name a few. I Shine More Mag: Are you signed to any label? If not, what record labels would you sign with? Phoenix I am currently unsigned but I would sign with any label. As long as I have creative control and the freedom to make the music that I want, everything else will take care of itself. I Shine More Mag: What is your ultimate goal at the end of your career? I want to be remembered for being a positive impact. It’s cool that people like and play my music because it sounds hot, but when people tell me how it moves them, makes them feel good or helps them get through tough situations, that’s the best gift of all in my opinion. I don’t care if I never win any awards, as long as I left something positive I will be a very happy man. I Shine More Mag: What unique experience or qualifications separate you from other candidates Phoenix What separates me from the other candidates is my ambition. I don’t mean this in a negative way to anybody else, but I believe nobody has the drive, work ethic and will that I have. I’ve lost so much in my life from my best friend’s death to my family being separated and for me to even have the opportunity to be a part of this great magazine shows that no matter what I’ve went through in life, I never gave up on my dream and now I’m starting to see it pay off. I Shine More Mag: What motivates you? How do you motivate others? Phoenix What motivates me is my city. I love being from Camden, but I know I can no longer live here. I don’t want to struggle the rest of my life and for it to stop at least for the most part, I must become successful. I believe I motivate others by never giving up. People praise me all the time for my ambition and they say that is one of the best things about me. I Shine More Mag: What do you want people to know about you? Phoenix I came from Camden, NJ and I am not a statistic of the negative stereotypes. I am not perfect and have made mistakes in life just like everyone has, but I did not let that stop me or define who I am. Without music I would be depressed, incomplete or even dead. I was making bad decisions that could have come with the ultimate price, but once I knew I wanted to do music, I put my focus and energy into that instead of negative things. Music is my medicine. It has helped me deal with hardships and by me putting my emotions into music, I can cope with the pain I’ve been through and help people deal with theirs. My music makes me feel alive and happy. When I’m in the studio I often run, jump, scream and laugh because I’m so hype and full of energy. I believe you should enjoy what you do because if you didn’t enjoy your passion, it wouldn’t be a passion at all. I am an inspiration. People that have heard my story or have known me for sometime, have always said that I inspire them. I even hear it from older people frequently and it still shocks me. I may be young, but I have younger and older people who look up to me. That’s a pretty good thing to know and I am glad I can be that.
