Premium Cheese Our Dutch cheese is made from the best fresh meadow milk. The cows graze on the vast polders of the Netherlands. This soil is slightly salty, which produces meadow milk which is creamier by nature. This makes Dutch Gouda cheese particularly delicious and creamy.

The herbed cheeses are all special. All cheeses are made in a traditional way according to their own recipe. These herbed cheeses are made by selected farmers who are specialized in making unique herbed cheeses. Each cheese gets its own herbal additives, creating the specific taste.

Premium Goat Cheese In our range you will find different types of goat cheese; with and without herbs. The goats graze in a large potting shed in North Holland. Thanks to a balanced diet of special grasses, flaxseed and straw, the milk is always of a constant high quality. As a result, the goat cheese is very rich in flavour and incredibly creamy.

Premium Sheep Cheese The milk for our sheep cheese comes from a sheep farm called “Westfriesedijk”. These sheep graze on 70 hectares of land. This large nature reserve has always been influenced by salty wetland. This makes the grass richer in composition and the milk much tastier! The feed for the animals is home-grown, so they can guarantee the quality. An extra effort they like to make to guarantee their vision for animal welfare and health!

About Daniel’s Selection Hi, my name is Daniel Treur and I would like to introduce myself!

I grew up with cheese; my father started selling cheese in 1955.

This has grown into a wholesale cheese business that goes by the name Treur Kaas. With more than 65 years of experience, Treur Kaas is your expert in maturing and conditioning Dutch cheese.

So I was brought up on between the cheeses. I select the cheeses by smell, taste and touch. Only the best cheeses will be included in Daniel’s Selection. This way, a great selection of various cheeses has been created!

The Daniel’s Selection range consists of both premium and organic cheese, made from cow’s milk, goat’s milk, sheep’s milk and jersey milk. I have selected both mild and aged cheeses to cover the whole range. Experience the taste of these unique cheeses yourself!

Organic cheese

Organic Cheese Our organic cheese is 100% organic, made from the most creamy cow’s milk.

The cows feast on the herbs and grass of the meadow. As a thank you, they give delicious milk and manure full of nutrients in return. The results are happy cows, delicious cheese from their milk, vegetables that grow well and farmers with a big smile. The circle is complete!

Organic Goat Cheese Our organic goat cheese is 100% organic, full of taste and pure nature! This milk is of high quality because the goats receive the best nutrition and care.

In addition, they get the space they need.

The milk is processed into goat cheese with a delicious pure goat cheese flavor. In this process, no salt is added nor preservatives are used, so you can taste the best of nature! The most delicious goat’s cheese is so soft and creamy that it appeals to everyone.

Organic Sheep Cheese Our organic sheep’s cheese comes from a small cooperative with organic sheep and is produced by De Mèkkerstee from Ouddorp. Very tasteful and particularly soft and creamy in taste. A real specialty with a unique taste.

This sheep’s cheese is a real Dutch product, made from Dutch milk.

Organic Jersey Cheese Our Jersey cheese is made from 100% jersey milk.

Jersey milk has a different composition of fat and protein than milk from a Holsteiner cow. The percentage of fat (5.9%) protein content (4.2%) is higher, making the cheese even creamier and fuller in taste. This results in a particularly rich cheese with a distinctive taste.
