The EXPLORER 2-wire handset is a standard PSTN analogue telephone handset to be used with the Thrane & Thrane EXPLORER terminals or any other satellite terminal with an analogue PSTN interface.
User-friendly telephony in the field – anywhere The EXPLORER 2-wire handset is very easy to use. Just plug it into the analogue voice interface of your satellite terminal. Then you are ready to start talking with anybody anywhere in the world. You get all the basic features of a regular telephone, e.g. call back, phone book, caller ID and a list of last calls. The only difference is that you no longer have to worry about loss of mast coverage – because there is always a satellite ready and waiting for your call.
