ABOUT M15
This brochure includes several installations of a single sculpture titled “M15.” The images included were created by the artist. M15 is a sculpture within a series of twenty-three works spanning several years of design and refinement. This document contains only M15, formatted within a proposal for an SAIC Alumni exhibition, Bare Walls. Additional information is available for each other M-Series sculptures, upon request.
M15 is a kinetic mobile, composed of eight independent columns. Each column is a free-floating collection of single units, suspended from the ceiling and connected via lightweight monofilament. Each column is incredibly lightweight and slowly twists from the air movement creating a slowly transforming effect when experienced.
