Trey Hess

I currently serve as Director of Brownfields and Economic Development for PPM Consultants, Inc. Prior to joining PPM in July of 2016, I was the Chief of the Groundwater Assessment & Remediation Division (GARD) for the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) where I managed a staff of twenty-eight (28) highly skilled engineers, geologists, and specialists and an annual budget of roughly $28 million. GARD is charged with assessing and remediating contaminated sites to protect the State's valuable groundwater resources and to safeguard the health, safety, and welfare of citizens of this great State. In my new role at PPM, I plan to continue to used a business-minded approach to solving brownfield and economic development challenges for our public and private sector clients.
