MY TRI-CITIES SUMMER 2018
Publisher, Shannon Mitchell enjoying a chilled green juice smoothie and a summer day off!
elcome to the summer 2018 edition of The Tri-City News’ My Tri-Cities Magazine. We are your trusted source for news and, as such, are offering you this guide for activities taking place between early July and mid-November. As you can read, there are so many things going on in Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam and Port Moody — from arts shows and theatre performances to city festivals and neighbourhood nights. Many of these events are family friendly and, best of all, free to the public. And there are several gatherings that are major tourist
draws for the Tri-Cities, with thousands of people flocking — from around the Lower Mainland and beyond, thanks in part to the new Evergreen Extension — to Ribfest in Port Moody, the PoCo Grand Prix in downtown Port Coquitlam and the Kaleidoscope Arts Festival in Coquitlam (with featured headliners, The Philosopher Kings). But, if you’re looking to chill a little, head over to our numerous municipal and regional parks or, for a challenging trek, the Coquitlam Crunch. So get out and have fun! The Tri-Cities is the place to be. And don’t forget to use this magazine as your guide for your adventures!
