Parents may be in the room to assist young children, but food and party activities are for the party participants only. Can parties be for multiple children at one time? We limit parties to one child (or two children in the same family). How long are the parties? Most parties are 2 hours in length, plus 30 minutes of set-up prior to the start time to prepare for your guests and 15 minutes for cleanup. Can we stay longer than the allotted time? Time extensions and multiple party bookings will not be accepted. What should I bring to the party? Please bring the following items to your party: food, beverages, plates, napkins, cutlery and tablecloths for 6’ rectangle tables (4 recommended) and goody bags (optional).

Additional Questions for Arena and Aquatics Parties Only

Arena Parties Will I receive a phone call from my leader prior to my party date? A leader will contact you up to 48 hours prior to set up a meeting place and answer any questions you may have. Spring parties – your party will have a private sheet of ice in the curling rink. Do we have to pay for skate and helmet rentals? Skates and helmet rental are included in your party fee. Can the kids wear bike helmets? Bike helmets are not permitted on the ice surface as they do not offer adequate protection. Do we have access to a kitchen? Arena parties do not have access to a fridge or kitchen facilities.

CANCELLATION POLICY: All party cencellations require two weeks notice.

What can I bring to decorate? You are welcome to bring your own party decorations/supplies, but we ask that you use tape only to avoid damage to the walls. Yes, the party leader will maintain the active portion of the party. We ask that you assist the party leader during the activities. In the 2nd hour of the party we ask that parents help supervise the children. Can I hire a magician/clown/fairy to entertain at my party? Third party entertainers are not permitted. For parties that offer a craft, can I request a specific craft? Our party leader prepares an age appropriate craft and you may discuss a craft option upon arrival or during set-up time. As an elementary school teacher, I love teaching kids and motivating them to learn. I have been active my whole life and have enjoyed doing many sports, races and events. I came to Port Moody Rec Complex to do cross training and was inspired and motivated by the instructors. It was after my first child I wanted the experience to motivate people in fitness and share my love, passion and energy with people who have similar interests. Nine years later I still love walking into the spin studio and seeing people there who have come to build off each other’s energy including mine. The best part about Spinning is no matter what level of fitness you have, you can always rise to challenging yourself and pushing yourself to where you need to be. Stay active, get motivated and share your energy!

The best part about Spinning is no matter what level of fitness you have, you can always rise to challenging yourself and pushing yourself to where you need to be. – Amanda 31
