Green, 82, of Fort Branch, died Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton. He was born to Michael and Josephine (Doliana) Green on February 6, 1936 in Terre Haute. He was retired from South Gibson Corporation, where he was superintendent of schools from 1979-2002. He graduated from Van Buren High School in Brazil, Indiana and received his degrees from Indiana State University. Mike was a trustee board member of Gibson General Hospital and a board member of the Evansville Catholic Diocese. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Nascar fan, but his greatest love was with his wife DeAnn, of 47 years, and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The family will miss his intellect and words of wisdom, but most who knew him will miss his great stories. Mike was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Fort Branch. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, DeAnn C. Green, in 2004. He is survived by his daughter; LeAnn S. (Chris) Cooper of Fort Branch; two sons Michael J. (MaryJo) Green of Dayton, Ohio and Martin A. (Alene) Green of Mobile, Alabama; two sisters, Helen Austgen of South Bend, Indiana and Delores (Lyn) Beath of Mishawaka; five

grandchildren; Christopher M. (Emily) Cooper of Haubstadt, Andrew R. Cooper of Los Angeles, California, Emily Green of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Michael Green of Dayton, Ohio and Callie Green of Mobile, Alabama; two great-grandchildren; Ava Cooper and Benjamin Cooper of Haubstadt and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. A mass of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26th, 2018, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with burial following in the Restlawn Cemetery in Brazil, Indiana. Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Stodghill Funeral Home with a rosary service beginning at 1:30 p.m. and again at 9:30 a.m. until service time at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Lloyd McCleary “Mac” Emge OWENSVILLE — Lloyd McCleary “Mac” Emge, 70, of Owensville, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, Oct. 26, 2018. Mac was born Aug. 24, 1948, in Evansville to Lloyd O. Emge and Joyce (McCleary) Emge Horn. Mac was a 1966 graduate of Fort Branch Community High School where he lettered in basketball, baseball and football. He attended Kentucky Wesleyan College before enlisting in the Army where he was assigned to veterinary service at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma and Ft. Sam, Houston, Texas. In 1970, Mac was honorably discharged from the Army. Upon his return to Indiana, Mac began his long career of training and racing standardbred horses. True to his nature, whether alone, or with friends, Mac’s church was “the Great Outdoors.” This is where he felt closest to God. As an avid sportsman, Mac loved hunting, fishing and training bird dogs. He was a long-time member of many wildlife and hunting organizations. Mac spent most weekends competing in field trials with his beloved pointers, setters, and short hairs. He was an experienced marksman and through the years received multiple awards. Mac is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Jenny (Pegram); three daughters, Melissa (Mike) Beverly of Newburgh; Jolynn (Steve) Maloney, Henderson; and Sarah

Ravellette, Evansville. Mac had a keen sense of humor and was always pulling pranks on his seven grandchildren. Lovingly referred to as “Popper,” by Isaac, Kellen, and Isabella Beverly; Alex and Chase Maloney; and Nola and Samuel McCleary Ravellette. Two sisters: Ann (Emge) Northern of Louisville; Jill (Emge) Harris of San Rafael, California; one brother, Peter Emge of Evansville; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends that are far too numerous to list, but were very special to Mac. Clifford Earl Blaize PRINCETON — Clifford Earl Blaize, 91, of Princeton, passed away Friday, Oct. 19, 2018 at the River Oaks Health Campus in Princeton. He was born March 18, 1927 in Gibson County to Norman G. and Florence E. (Phillips) Blaize. Earl retired in 1989 from Whirlpool, where he worked for 34 years. He had lived in Princeton since 1997, moving here from Hazleton. He graduated from Hazleton High School. He was a member of the Hazleton United Methodist Church and since moving to Princeton they had been attending the New Life Church of the Nazarene in Princeton, He enjoyed gardening, family gatherings and

participating in church activities. Earl is survived by his wife of 67 years, Lettie J. (Redfairn) Blaize of Princeton; daughter, Phyllis Blaize of Princeton; son, Timothy Ray Blaize of Tell City; grandchildren, Lisa Thompson (Andrew) of Francisco and Keith Blaize (Mindy) of Patoka; great-grandchildren,

He was born on October 13, 1948 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, to George Washington and Rachel (Tandy) Clardy. He lived in Princeton for over 40 years, coming from Terre Haute. He was a coalminer at Wabash Mine in Keensburg for over 30 years, retiring in 2005. He served in the United States Navy. He was an avid photographer, bowled in a league for over 40 years and belonged to the UMWA Local 1791. He attended Waymen Chapel AME at Lyles Station.

Camaron Scott “Cam” Beshears FORT BRANCH — Camaron Scott “Cam” Beshears, 19, of Fort Branch, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday October 27, 2018. Born April 20, 1999, Cam lived each moment of life enjoying fishing, shooting his grandfather’s bow and loving his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his Papaw Jerry Overfield. James A. Hill PRINCETON — James A. Hill, 90, of Princeton, passed away at River Oaks Health Campus on October 30, 2018. He was born to Gordon and Ethel (Scott) Hill on July 18, 1928, in Copac, Michigan. James was a member of Dayspring Community Church of Owensville, a lifetime member of the American Legion Post 8, and a WWII Veteran having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was later discharged from the U.S. Air Force. He retired from Ford Motor Company as a maintenance foreman. Besides his parents, James is preceded in death by his loving wife Phyllis (Anger) Hill, three brothers; George, Robert, and Duane Hill, and two sisters; Clara Bailey and Ruby Evoy. EVANSVILLE — Randelle “Randy” (Colbert) Head, age 69, of Evansville, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, surrounded by her loved ones after battling cancer. Randy was born May 11, 1949, in Evansville, to Rudolph “Rudy” and Dorothy (Hayne) Colbert. She graduated from North High School in 1967. Randy retired from Evansville Animal Control after 28 years of service. She was a fierce advocate for all animals, and she dedicated her life to her loved ones. Brandon Kirk “Radar” Myers PRINCETON — Brandon Kirk “Radar” Myers, 42, passed into the arms of our savior on Friday, October 12, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born on June 8, 1976 in Oakland City, to Linda D. (Miskell) Myers and Kirk M. Myers. His early years were spent in Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis overcoming many obstacles. He lived a full and active life, never letting anything slow him down. He graduated from Princeton Community High School in 1995, where he was an avid Tiger fan and supporter. That love of the Tigers never waned, and he continued to work for and support the school and sports he loved. He was employed by Save-a-Lot in Princeton for 18 years where he was a dedicated and dependable stock clerk. Brandon and Jennifer Elaine Smith were married on June 20, 2009, in the United Presbyterian Church in from of family and friends. He and Jennifer attended New Life Church of the

Nazarene of Princeton. Their lives were busy and full of love. Brandon’s life revolved around his love for the Princeton Tigers. That love and dedication was rewarded when he was nominated and appointed to the Greater Indiana Baseball Hall of Fame in October of 2017. He was so proud when he became a PCHS Varsity Baseball Assistant Coach and was able to contribute to the success of the school, coaches and teams. He loved what he did. Brandon was preceded in death by his parents, Linda and Kirk Myers; his grandparents, Bill and Lee Myers and Charles and Helen Miskell; and three special uncles, Steve Myers and Larry and Mark Miskell.

Bonnie J. Nurrenbern PRINCETON — Bonnie J. Nurrenbern, 72, of Princeton, passed away at Deaconess Heart Hospital in Newburgh, on October 17, 2018. She was born to Denzil “Dick” and Catherine (Kiesel) Memmer on Nov. 30, 1945, in Haubstadt. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Snake Run and of St. Ann’s Altar Society. Doyle E. Woods PRINCETON — Doyle Edwards Woods, known to friends as “Woody,” passed away Oct. 25, 2018, at the age of 87 years. A native of Princeton, Doyle was born April 3, 1931 to Arnett Archibald and Esther Laverne Ransford Woods. Eugene Allen Pankake PRINCETON — Eugene Allen Pankake, 62, of Princeton, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at Good Samaritan Home in Oakland City. He was born June 2, 1956 in Oakland City and resided in Princeton for many years and graduated in 1974 from Princeton Community High School and then from University of Evansville, School of Engineering. He was a mechanical engineer for Alcoa for 15 years and then operated his own company, GAP Engineering in Newburgh, where he lived for over 35 years. Eugene is survived

Russell Wayne Rainey SOMERVILLE — Russell Wayne Rainey, 77, of Somerville, entered rest on Monday, Oct. 22, 2018, at The Waters in Princeton. He was born on Oct. 25, 1940, in Oakland City to Homer and Margaret (Mullins) Rainey. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Ronald and Arville Rainey; daughter Selicia (Lisa) Hughes in 2003 and son Russell Edward (Rusty) Rainey in 2016. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was a member of the Oakland City American Legion Post 256. Wayne had worked

in 1942 and from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1950. He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force and served from 1952 to 1955, where he achieved the rank of Captain and was stationed in Japan during the Korean War. He opened his Dental practice in Indianapolis in 1965 and moved it to Kokomo in 1969, where he stayed until he sold his practice and retired in 1982. He then returned to the area of his hometown in 1991. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and is survived by his third wife of 28 years, Betty (Theiring-Barnard) Risley, married in 1990; his son and daughter-in-law, Kerry

He was born on Nov. 6, 1924 in Princeton, but grew up in Oakland City the only child of Harley Taylor and Leona Bell (Blacketer) Risley who preceded him in death along with his first wife and mother of his children, Georgia Ann (Ford) Risley (1925-1977), married in 1952; and his second wife, Norma (Florek-King) Risley (1925-1989), married in 1977. He graduated from Oakland City High School

veteran, serving in Korean and Vietnam Wars. He retired from the Army as a chief warrant officer before working for the FAA for 15 years. A celebration of Doyle’s life is at 2 p.m. Monday,
