The Tribe enters Sunday's Postponed game with three consecutive wins secured. On Friday W&M shot a seasonL, 39-67 best 56.6% FG and hit 9-of-19 from the 3FG. W&M was 14-of-15 from the L, 55-91 charity stripe and had 20 assists. Postponed - Casey was on fire Friday night as she led the Tribe with 27 points while L, 71-87 shooting 4-of-6 from the three and 7-of-7 from the free-throw line. The W, 56-48 Brentwood, Tenn. native has led the Tribe in scoring, averaging 15.7 points L, 57-67 per game, while she is also among the league leaders ranking number one W, 70-56 in 3-point % (41.6), first in 3-point FG made (3.0), and eighth in scoring. L, 67-75 - Wagner tailed a career-high last night with 23 points, three assists, and three steals. Wagner has been sensational this season averaging 14 points per game, 3.7 rebounds, with 3.2 assists per game, and is shooting 91.3% L, 60-76 from the charity stripe. Wagner is amongst the league leaders and ranks L, 58-64 fifth in 3FG made. The Phoenixville, Pa., native reached 1,000 career points L, 59-61 in the Tribe's win against UNCW on Feb., 13. W,65-63 W,69-59 - Kayla Beckwith has proven to be pivotal in conference play shooting W,83-65 77.4% FG and averaging 18 minutes a game. In the Tribe's most recent 2 PM match-up, Beckwith topped a career-high for the third consecutive game 7 PM with 15 points, shooting 6-of-7 from the field, eight rebounds, and two 1 PM assists. - Bre Bellamy has been one of Swanson's most consistent and go-to players this season. Bellamy leads the Green and Gold in blocks per game 2 PM and is second in rebounds averaging 5.5 per game. - The Tribe has been one of the most ferocious three-point defenses in Division I this season. William & Mary leads the CAA in threepointers per game (6.9) and is first in team three-point field goal percentage 32%. Under head coach Ed Swanson, the Tribe has held opponents to under 50 points in 29 games and are 28-1 in those contests. - W&M head coach Ed Swanson enjoyed a noteworthy 2019-20 season individually. He was named the CAA Co-Coach of the Year following the Tribe's historic season.
