Tridel Take Action The Tridel Take Action team is an employee driven team, committed to taking action in the communities in which we build, live and work. We are focused in the areas of sustainability and innovation, health and wellness, and charitable fundraising volunteerism. In 2015, our team held several successful clothing, food and gift basket drives, and fundraisers supporting local community partners, shelters, and charitable foundations. In line with our support of the education of youth in under-resourced communities, and in partnership with Free the Children, our team participated in numerous social awareness campaigns and raised several thousand dollars in support of our goal of building a school house in Los Rios, Ecuador. We also raised enough funds for B.O.L.T. to provide one scholarship. In addition to ongoing sustainability efforts and greening our workplace, we successfully diverted 2118 pounds of electronic waste from our landfills, and collected 1634 batteries for the Zinc Saves Lives Campaign. Our team also proudly supported a Habitat for Humanity build, and continue to volunteer our time in support of the Bowery Project.

What does this mean? It means everything we do, from design and construction to operations and maintenance is executed sustainably.

Along with George Brown College, Humber College, Centennial College and Pathways to Education, B.O.L.T. contributed $164,000 for 55 scholarships offered in 2015 and raised over $325,000 in their last fundraising casino night, as well as providing apprenticeship training opportunities through the Hammer Heads Program.
