VASE
My design of the vase was initiallyinspired by a tree’s leaves found at Merri Creek. Narrowly long leaves rotating around the center at different lengths give it a spikey appearance. I decided to trace the outline of the ‘flower’ and rotate the curves at slightly different angle. Then using grasshopper to loft the curves together. I created 10 different variations by adjusting the Scale and extruding factor.
