Firstly let me thank you for taking the time to do this for us. We couldn’t continue to provide services to local patients and their families without the generosity and kindness of our supporters. Whether you’re having a girls night in, afternoon tea or wining and dining with friends - this pack is bursting with creative bits and bobs that will help you to have a Get Together to remember. Thanks again for your support,

What is a Trinity Get Together?
Ideas
The sky is the limit... You could: • Indulge in afternoon tea
A Trinity Get Together is a great excuse to party! A way for you to gather your favourite people, have a bit of fun and raise vital funds for your local charity. It’s great to spend time, celebrate and meet up with those we care about and what better way to do so, than at a Trinity Get Together. Keep it simple or go all-out. You have as much freedom as you need to create your very own special event.
• Throw a street party • Enjoy an evening of G&T • Organise a themed dinner party • BBQ with the friends and family • Have a garden party • Grab a girls (or boys) night in • Plan a poker night • Hold a movie marathon • Arrange a kick-about • Host a cocktail soiree
We could go on forever.

Always here, thanks to you...
Hospice care is all about providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain and stress of a serious and life-limiting illness and to improve quality of life for patients and their loved ones during difficult times.
Funding is a constant challenge Some people think hospices are part of the NHS when, in fact, two thirds of our annual running costs must come from voluntary donations. It’s the generosity of our local community - people just like you - that keeps our doors open seven days a week.

Share your event Set up a JustGiving page and raise a little bit more JustGiving is a great and easy way for you to fundraise, without having to manage the money yourself. And you don’t have to be tech-savvy either.
If JustGiving is not for you, don’t worry - we have also included a sponsorship form in your pack. Just make sure everyone fills in all their details when they donate towards the event.
Visit www.justgiving.com/trinitycare, follow the simple on-screen steps, note down your page address and send a link to those attending your event. Don’t forget to share and share again. The more you share, the more you might raise.
Sending in money raised Think about how you are going to raise money at your Trinity Get Together. You could charge a fixed entry fee. Or ask for a donation on arrival on a ‘put in a pot’ basis. You could charge for individual items - food and drink maybe? Whatever you decide to do, try and make it clear to guests before the event, so they know what to expect. You could even work out a price list if it helps. We don’t have a preference for how you send your donations in. Whatever works for you. However, we would be grateful if you fill in your donation collection forms, which allow us to claim Gift Aid on all of your guests’ donations if applicable. If you have set up a JustGiving page, you do not have to let us know about that - as we will receive those funds automatically, directly from JustGiving.
Ways to get your money to us... Bring it into the hospice Bring your donations into the hospice as cash, cheque or pay by debit card when you get here.
By Post Send a cheque to: Trinity Hospice, Low Moor Road, Blackpool FY2 0BG. (Please don’t send cash in the post)
Online Visit www.trinityhospice.co.uk and click ‘Donate now’ leaving a note in the comment box about your event.
