Camp Trinity offers 30+ specialty camps each June and August. Camps are led by Trinity faculty and staff and include a variety of options for students ranging from grades Prekindergarten through Eighth Grade. Our summer camp runs over four consecutive weeks in June and for two full weeks and one partial week in August. It includes both half and full day scheduling options. Before and after camp care is available from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.


Abracadabra (Magic Tricks) Week 3 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students entering Grades 2 - 6. Week 4 (offered Half Day - p. m. only) Open to students entering Grades 2 - 6. Are you really interested in magic? Do you want to impress people? In that case, Abracadabra Magic Tricks Camp is the best way to do it! You will learn one of the most important secrets about becoming a magician, how to use your confidence, personality, and presentation skills to enchant and amaze your friends and family.

Act It Out Weeks 1 and/or 4 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 5. Penny Pirri and Rhonda Dumas will read stories and plays, then design and make props/costumes to act out the play. We will perform the play for the camp at the end of the week.

All That Sparkles Week 1 and/or 4(offered Half Day - p.m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 4. Do you love bling, sequins, glitter, and glitz? Campers will participate in a variety of activities and create crafts that shimmer and glimmer. Penny Pirri will help campers add some sparkle to their summer with this dazzling camp.


Alternative Process Photography Week 5 (offered a.m., p.m., or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 6 - 8. Campers will learn about the photography processes that preceded today’s digital technology. Helen Reed will teach campers about the camera obscura, solar photography, and film photography, and how these processes combine science and art to create images that can last for hundreds of years. A little history, a little science experimentation, and a lot of fun! This camp is limited to eight campers. Ballet Weeks 1 and/or 2 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades PreK - 3. Trinity Summer Camp meets The Nutcracker! Danielle Richard will teach basic ballet positions and beginning techniques of ballet; building poise, grace, and balance. Each ballerina will help make her own beautiful tulle tutu to be worn at Friday’s performance on the stage. This year the performance themes are “The Music Box Ballerina” (Week 1) and “Butterfly Ballet” (Week 2).

Board Games and Puzzle Madness Weeks 2 and/or 3 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to Students entering Grades K - 4. Join Anné Stackel-Laurendine to Play, Design, and Create your own board game and puzzles using multiple medias: clay, paint, canvas, photos, wood, and so much more!! We will start the week by playing games and completing puzzles to get our creative juices flowing and then create our own fun, interesting, stylish games of our own! Catching New Orleans Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (offered Full Day only) Open to students entering Grades 4 - 8. Get ready to experience the City of New Orleans! Sandy Courvoisier will guide daily excursions to popular local spots in New Orleans! Campers choose the destinations they wish to visit that week, and then we are off! Popular destinations in the past have included: Mardi Gras World, swimming, plantation tour, Audubon Zoo, the French Quarter, Magazine Street, movie, City Park Amusement Park, beignets at City Park, and sno-balls at Hansen’s! Participants should bring their curiosity for the “Big Easy,” as well as some personal spending money. Transportation is provided, and campers will be informed of additional costs for some destinations. This camp fills up quickly, and we have space for 11 campers. Hope you will join us!


Cheer and Dance Weeks 1 and/or 2 (offered Full Day) Open to students entering Grades K - 6. Cheerleaders will learn an awesome defense cheer, offense cheer, a fun chant, and a full dance routine! We will start our day with technical skills. Cheerleaders will learn movements and positions that are key to proper form. We will also practice strengthening exercises and jump sequences to warm up! In the morning cheerleaders will learn a defense and offense cheer. In the afternoon, we will practice a dance routine and chant. We will end the day with conditions and circle bonding time. Last but not least, we will decorate shirts to wear on our performance day!! This will be a rewarding opportunity that will teach cheerleaders movement skills, posture, performance, and teamwork! Let the fun begin! Yay! Digital Media Weeks 3 and/or 4 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 4 - 6. Join Helen Reed to learn the art of stop-motion animation! Campers will learn how to create movies using clay, legos, and other toys. We will re-visit existing stories as well as create original story lines.

Digital Photography Week 6 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 5 - 8. Join Helen Reed to learn the basics of digital photography. Learn how to make digital images, then edit, print, mat, and display the images. Campers will learn how to tell a visual story that engages the viewer and demonstrates compositional rules to achieve aesthetic interest. Disney Craft and Sing Along Week 4 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 8. Come sing along with your favorite Disney princess or character and SeĂąora Perez. Together we will sing all of the top hits from Frozen, Little Mermaid, Jungle Book, and many others. While we sing, we will color and make a craft to make the Magical World of Disney truly come to life. Campers are encouraged to dress as their favorite character.


Fashion Design Week 1 (offered Half Day - p.m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 4. Week 2 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 4. Eric Haché will teach participants how to turn creative ideas into unique runway creations. Campers will begin with sketches and then bring his/her vision to life using various kinds of plastic. Whether creating clothing or accessories, future designers will take the stage for a fashion show on Friday. Flicks, Fun & Food from around the World Week 1 (offered Half Day - p. m. only) Open to students entering Grades 2 - 6. In this camp led by Kalpana Saxena, we will be watching kid appropriate movies from around the world. Each day we will taste a snack from that country as well as create a craft to bring home. Fort City Weeks 1, 2, and 3 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 4. Week 4 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 4. Have you ever had a vision of the perfect fort? Have you ever wished you could have just enough time to get it perfect? Well wish no more—Fort City is the camp for you! Led by Bobby “Mr. H” Hadzor, students will use reclaimed materials, and we will spend the week building and presenting the perfect fort. Get in out of that heat and bring your imagination, because Fort City is NOT TO BE MISSED!


Hands On Keepsakes Weeks 5 & 6 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades PreK - 5. Learn to make fun and easy hand and foot print keepsakes! All you need is a hand or a foot, and then watch the magic unfold. Coco Edmond and Nikki Herrera will lead students in the art of mixing, molding, pressing, baking, painting, and more! At the end of the week your masterpiece is yours to keep! Hip-Hop and Dance Week 3 (offered Half Day - p. m. only) Open to students entering grades PreK – 8 It’s time to have fun and get fit while learning the basic moves of hip-hop dancing. Anaïs St. John will teach campers choreographed dance numbers by incorporating some breaking, locking, and popping to high energy, hip-hop music. Participants will show off their moves in a final performance on Friday. Home Sweet Home Week 3 (​ offered Half Day - a.m. only)​. Open to students entering Grades K - 8. Need a home for your Barbies or for your small action figures? In this camp you will design, decorate, and make a house with furniture for your dear friends. Join Señora Perez in this fun and creative camp.

Invent with littleBit Kits Week 2 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 2 - 8. Get started inventing with electronics! Lauren Faucheux will guide campers by exploring littleBits basics with students. Campers will build up familiarity with the Bits and then engage in mini-­challenges to gain confidence and spark their imagination while playing and making creations with littleBits.


Jewelry Making Weeks 1 and/or 2 (offered Half Day - p.m. only) Open to students entering Grades PreK - 6. Diamonds are a girl’s best friend. Danielle Richard will show campers how to create bracelets, rings, necklaces, and a headband using a variety of materials including polymer clay, acrylic charms, shrinky dinks, and beads. Each designer will create her own jewelry box to hold her handmade, one-of-a-kind creations. JUNIOR Titans Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and/or 6 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades PreK - 1. This camp is for those who “just wanna have fun.” Each week you’ll get to know a different Pink House teacher as well as spend time at the Pink House doing all the things you love. During the morning, campers will have an opportunity to play in centers, listen to a story, and play outside. In the afternoon., campers will get to go swimming. All morning and afternoon snacks will be provided by the camp counselor. We hope you join us for some FUN in the sun!

Lego Bots Weeks 3 and 4 (offered Full Day only) Open to students entering Grades 3 - 6. Students will bring LEGO robots to life! Lauren Faucheux will guide campers in learning how to write programs and code, construct and build attachments that help robots solve missions, and problem solve using computational thinking. This STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) course is designed as an introduction into programming and engineering using LEGO Mindstorms robotics kits and software. Lego World Week 2 (offered Half Day, a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 4. It’s a builder’s dream! Join Michelle Vinsanau for hours of building fun with Legos, Magna-Tiles, and a variety of other building toys. Campers will get to make a new creation each day or work on one special GRAND creation throughout the week. Each child will get a take-home picture portfolio showcasing his or her unique works.


Let’s Draw Week 3 (offered Half Day - p.m. only) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 5. CARTOON DRAWING - Learning begins by imitating! Participants will learn how to draw by imitating and modifying illustrations. Each camper will create his/her own sketch-filled portfolio. Eric Haché will take a fun, entertaining approach to inspire and develop the “inner artist” of campers at all skill levels...LET’S DRAW! Mardi Gras Bead Art Week 3 (offered Half Day - p.m. only) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 7. Have you ever wondered what to do with all of the beads that you catch at Mardi Gras parades each year? Danielle Richard will show campers how to repurpose Mardi Gras beads into new projects. Campers will make bead mosaics, picture frames, suncatchers, vases, and more. Music Video Week 1 (offered Half Day - p.m. only) Open to students entering grades PreK – 8. Produce and star in your very own music video! Campers will choose a song, choreograph the dance, plan the wardrobe, and help each other out behind the camera. This camp is perfect for the budding star or the “behind the scenes” assistant. Anaïs St. John will instruct this camp.

Paper Arts Weeks 1 and/or 2 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades 4 - 8. Create interesting and imaginative works of art by learning to use paper in new ways. Helen Reed will teach campers about paper sculputing, origami, papier mâché, and quilling. An exhibition will conclude each week.


PRINTMAKING Week 3 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 8 Ms. Stander teaches Kindergarten and Lower School art classes at Trinity. She is a working artist who focuses on sculpture, drawing, and collages. Students will learn about the wonderful world of making prints! We will use simple and fun methods of creating multiple prints by having the kids create original drawings on materials such as styrofoam, cardboard and even vegetables! Come, explore, and have some fun!

Robotics Weeks 1 and/or 2 (offered Full Day only) Open to students entering Grades 4 - 8 What do Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, and the Terminator have in common? That’s right, robotic arms! You too can build your very own robotic arm. Campers will learn basic tool and wiring skills in building this controller-driven arm.The robotic arm rotates 180 degrees, has a self-contained night light, and can lift objects weighing over 100 grams! Using its four battery powered motors, campers will compete for first place in games and contests. Space is limited to 12 campers, and there is an additional fee of $20 for the robotic arm kit. Campers will take their projects home on Friday.


Rocketry Weeks 2, 3, 4, 5 and/or 6 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 8. Science fun will be a BLAST this summer with the ever-popular Rocketry Camp! Chris Core will guide campers in hands-on construction of model rockets, ending with a grand launch on Friday. There is an additional fee of $12.00 for the two model rockets for students who choose the full day session. There is a $6.00 fee for the one model rocket for the a.m. or p.m. only session.

Simply Science Weeks 2 and/or 3 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 4. Science Rocks! Robin Adams will focus on laboratory safety, while conducting experiments and activities that explore geology, chemistry, botany, and biology. Come experience a fun way to approach the wonderful world of science! Simply Science Jr. Week 1 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades PreK - 1. Science Rocks! Robin Adams will lead our young scientists in fun-filled adventures of exploration in the Pink House. Soccer Weeks 1 and/or 2 (offered Half Day - a.m. only) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 5. Come develop fundamental and technical skills through soccer drills and games. This camp is open to all levels of experience and is an excellent opportunity to refine existing skills or learn new ones. Andy Smothermon will lead this camp.


Soft Sculpture Week 2 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 8 Ms. Stander teaches Kindergarten and Lower School art classes at Trinity. She is a working artist who focuses on sculpture, drawing, and collages. Students will create sculpture out of soft materials like fleece, cotton, and wool. Students will learn to make their own patterns and construct a form they create. Tasks will include cutting, gluing, and hand stitching. Come and have FUN!

Sports & Games Weeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and/or 7 (offered a.m., p.m. or Full Day) Open to students entering Grades K - 5. This camp will teach a variety of sport skills, as well as the fun and enjoyment of playing recreational games. Also, the development of game-playing etiquette and good sportsmanship will be stressed. Ruth Accardo, Lisa Magee, and Andy Smothermon will instruct this camp. Storytelling through the Grapevine Week 1 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students entering Grades 1 - 8. Professional Storyteller Kalpana Saxena will keep campers enthralled with her exciting, amusing, and magical stories that embody the wisdom of ancient cultures. Participants will listen to stories, read stories, and learn how to tell a story. A mini storytelling festival will be held at the end of the week.

Superhero Training Weeks 3 and/or 4 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students Pre K - 3. Have you always dreamed of becoming a superhero? If so, then superhero training camp is for you! Danielle Richard will help each camper create his or her own superhero persona and costume. Superheroes will complete various training challenges throughout the week. How will you save the day?


Superstar Voice Week 2 (offered Half Day - ­p.m. only) Open to students entering Grades PreK - 8. SUPERSTARS WANTED! Boys and girls will experience the fundamentals of singing through popular songs. Group voice lessons will be the focus, as well as poise, confidence, harmonizing, rhythm, and dance. Campers will “shine on stage” at a performance on Friday. Anaïs St. John will instruct this camp. Sweet Treats and Cinema Weeks 3 and/or 4 (​ offered Half Day - ­p.m. only) ​ Open to students entering Grades K - 8. Learn to make fun desserts from root beer floats to candy bar brownies and s’mores. Señora Perez will teach you basic tips and tricks about making delicious treats. Campers will sample the sweets while watching a classic movie.

Sword Fighting for the Stage Week 2 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students entering Grades 3 - 5. Looking to learn how to swashbuckle with the best of them? Becca Chapman and her professional stage combat assistant Alex Smith introduce students to the fundamentals of sword fighting for the stage in this funfilled camp. Limit: 26 students.

T-N-T Dance Weeks 1, 2, 3, and/or 4 (offered Half Day, p.m. only) Open to students entering Grades PreK - 8. This DYNAMITE dance class is designed to teach a wide variety of movement in one class such as cheer, yoga, jazz, traditional African, hip hop, and liturgical style of dance. Audra Ryes uses creative and imaginative ways to foster a love of movement in our students with fun and energy.


Volleyball Weeks 1 and/or 2 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students entering Grades 3 - 8. BUMP, SET, SPIKE! Come learn the basics of volleyball. Louise Tranchin will teach the proper way to set and bump and the beginning steps of a spike. Fun drills will be incorporated to work on serving, passing, and setting techniques. Young Artists Week 1 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 4. Week 2 (offered Half Day - p. m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 4. Week 4 (offered Half Day - a. m. only) Open to students entering Grades K - 4. Inquisitive art campers will use a variety of media and materials to express themselves in the world of art! This camp will provide age-appropriate activities, and Eric HachĂŠ will use painting, drawing, and sculpting to pique the interest of curious, young explorers.

World Domination Weeks 3 and/or 4 (offered Half-Day - p. m. only) Open to students entering Grades 5 - 8 Who is ready to take over the world?!? In this camp we will pit our wit and determination against each other in the ultimate conquest of world domination. Classic board games, such as RISK, Stratego, and others will be our outlets while we take a look at classic world domination themes in various films and television. Join us as we strategize and mobilize our efforts to take over the world!


August Camp at Les Enfants Weeks 5 and/or 6 (offered a.m., p.m., or Full Day) Open to students ages 18 months through five years old. Get ready for some FUN in the SUN! If you love playing, then this is the camp for you. Led by Michelle Vinsanau and early childhood teachers, campers will have an opportunity to play in Les Enfants classroom centers, listen to a story, and play outside during the morning. In the afternoon, campers will get to go swimming and play some water games. All morning and afternoon snacks will be provided by the camp. We hope to see you in August!

Lower School Jump Start Weeks 5 and 6 Fee $325 per week Morning session open to Trinity students entering Grades 2 - 4 Afternoon session open to ALL campers entering Grades 2 - 4 Get a jump start into the school year with Trinity Lower School teachers! Fun-filled activities are geared towards easing students back into the school year. Engaging activities will focus on skills in math and language arts. Campers will be divided into groups by fall-entering grade levels.
