From the time we are born, we seek light, water, food, shelter and community. Join us for a Lenten Study designed by the Society of St. John the Evangelist and Virginia Theological Seminary as we connect each ‘Sign of Life’ to Christian worship, and a spiritual practice.
This 4-week class is for high school youth and adults interested in the foundations of faith in the Episcopal Church. This discussion group combines Bible study, sacred art, church history, and answering questions about the Book of Common Prayer. Registration is required.
An interesting and humorous study on faith and temptation! Participants will read and discuss The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis and together, observe Uncle Screwtape’s advice to his junior demon and nephew Wormwood on how to steer the “patient” away from the enemy, God.
On Wednesday, March 9, Moses Muguro of Trinity Loaves and Fishes Africa will present.
*This class is a required step for those pursuing Confirmation or Reception during the Bishop’s visit on June 28.

Rite-13 (6th - 8th graders) March 8, 15, 22 and 29 Sundays, 10:15am at Molly’s House The beginning phase of the Journey to Adulthood (J2A) youth program is called Rite-13, a name that comes from a liturgical rite of passage to celebrate with young people around their 13th birthday.

Visit the Barataria Preserve to enjoy a guided 2-mile (2 hour) tour along a safe boardwalk, led by a park ranger through stunning wetlands. Admission is free. Following the tour, gather for a dutch treat lunch along the bayou at Restaurant des Families.
(Doesn’t meet on First Sundays)
Participants read short works of fiction and discuss them from a faith perspective.
*The guided tour is safe for wheelchair access for the first half mile.
