LETTER FROM THE BOARD CHAIR
Wow – just when we thought things were smooth sailing we end up in a global pandemic. It is incredible how the world was turned on its head in a matter of days. In our case, one day we were open and the next day we welcomed our students to a new remote campus. What we expected to be two weeks became, sadly, months. There has been heartache, loss, financial struggles and countless other negatives associated with COVID-19. Each of us have individual stories but together we have all prevailed. Our pivot to online learning was seamless, as we have been a leader in virtual education since inception. Our platform to teach girls remotely to account for snow days set us up for success in what became a virtual world. Our girls were able to keep to our demanding curriculum and to perform well on advanced placement exams and national standardized testing. Our graduates will be attending some of the finest schools in the country and, most important, they are happy. We continue to outperform our competitors, as we remain open for business and stick to our mission of educating our girls in the Catholic tradition.
Please peruse these pages of our 2019-2020 Annual Report to see what we have accomplished but to also see what you have helped us accomplish. Your generous support has allowed us to narrow the gap between what we charge for tuition and what it actually costs us to educate our students. We will always endeavor to improve our culture and curriculum, and to support our students to become citizens of tomorrow. We know that our graduates will be leaders and will make the world a better place. We already see the marks of Trinity Hall on our community. Thank you for helping us stay at the top as we continue to change the landscape of education for girls in our area.
