Prayer & Praise Picnic

Tailgate With The Lions An exciting evening of tailgating hit the parking lot Friday, September 21 when a dozen cook teams took to their grills and cooked up dinner. Team LTD won for best brisket, Team Wentz took the win for both chicken and ribs, Team Salt & Pepper took the pork championship and TCS Football won for beans! Afterwards, visitors headed into the Lions' Den to watch the Lady Lions varsity volleyball squad take on Arlington Grace Prep.

Introducing “Ms. 76 years young...

Dee,"

Tell us about your position: I started 14 years ago working in childcare when this was a two-days-a-week Parents Day Out program. I've seen a lot of incredible growth since that time. It’s been such a blessing to be a part of it. I am the lead teacher in the 18-14 months class, and I just love these kids! What is your favorite part? I get all my kudos from these kids—my hugs, my kisses. I’m a widow, so I can use all the kisses I can get! What’s the hardest part? The biters! They do it when you turn your back! When you are not in TLC, what do you do? On Sunday’s and Saturday nights, I volunteer for the kid care ministry of Trinity Church. And when I leave here, I have my two GREAT-grandkids to take care of! They are 10 and 5, and I am honored to take them to their sports and have fun with them after school each day. Dee Lacey, or Ms. Dee, with her TLC students.

...and still a beloved member of the TLC team.
