Sowing a Seed Joyce Herron founded Trinity Christian School (TCS) in
1977 with the support of Bill Herron, her husband. Bill, a deacon at Trinity Church, was known to many as “the man of peace.” In 1991, Bill passed away.
Despite the sudden loss of her husband, Joyce boldly
moved forward with the vision God gave her for TCS. She created the Bill & Joyce Herron Excellence in Education Endowment with $75,000 left from Bill to provide a
Christian education to all students regardless of their financial condition.
God calls some to give much and others to give little, but just as the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills, so He blesses our giving for His glory.

Endowment is dedicated to breaking the link between
family income and Christian education, ensuring
children from all backgrounds can receive a Biblical Foundation with Excellent Education. To safeguard the future of Trinity Christian School for many years to come, the principle of these gifts
cannot be spent, but the earnings can. When a a gift is made to the endowment, the TCS Foundation agrees to manage and maintain that gift in perpetuity.

Cultivating a Legacy Trinity Christian School is honored to educate 60 legacy students this year and will graduate the first legacy student in spring, 2014. Fostering a culture of giving back to your community is crucial for building legacy and the success of the Bill & Joyce Herron Excellence in Education Endowment. This is a gift that keeps giving. The goal is 100 new members giving monthly to the endowment fund during the 2013-2014 school year.
Without you, many students will forfeit the opportunity to receive a Christian education. The endowment fund also aids in keeping your tuition rates reasonable and competitive while maintaining the employment of quality educators.

Does the Endowment Need My Gift? The endowment needs gifts of all sizes. It takes a great deal of support to assure the mission of the endowment will continue in the future.
Is Money the Only Thing I Can Give? In addition to monies, you may gift through: ● Stocks, bonds, and other securities ● Real estate along with other valuable items. ● All or a portion of your estate may be willed to TCSF ● TCS Foundation may be named as a beneficiary of an insurance policy. ● Trust or annuities, which offer you tax benefits and income now while benefiting TCS in the future.
How Does the Endowment Operate? The Trinity Christian School Foundation has a board of directors, which have the responsibility to carry out the mission of the endowment according to the Articles of Incorporation of the Foundation. The TCSF manages gifts made through wills, insurance, or outright donations. The principle of these gifts is invested and distributions are used to strengthen and expand TCS.
