Japanese Classes!
We are a society that celebrates and enjoys all things of the Japanese culture!
Beginner
If you want to learn Japanese or if you’re a fan of Japanese food, films, anime, tea or more then come join us as we watch films, drink tea and learn to make sushi!
We offer a beginners Japanese class every week with no experiance required! Come along and learn the basic words, phrases and sentence patterns to start talking Japanese from nothing!
Intermediate If you already know the basics, then every week we also offer an intermediate class where we learn and practice some more advanced grammars and topics!
Movies and Anime
We do showings of Japanese movies and shows with free snacks throughout the year! We’ll be showing all different types and genres from the most twisted horror films to the most visceral anime!
Mini culture night
Throughout the year we’ll be hosting a culture night where members can try wearing kimonos and yukatas, eat sushi, listen to music and experience a little bit of everything Japanese!

Ever thought about making some sushi of your own?
Join us in our sushi making class where we learn to make our own sushi and get to enjoy eating the fruits of our efforts!
Want to try some Japanese tea for yourself? Come along to one of our traditional tea parties where we mingle and drink Japanese teas.
60 Year Anniversary!
This year marks the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Ireland. In celebration of this we will be hosting a panel discussion between some of the key people involved in this success!
