SEVENTH- AND EIGHTH-GRADE ART 621. 7th Grade 622. 8th Grade These two pieces are inspired by American sculptor Louise Nevelson. Both 7th and 8th graders cut or tore pieces of any found objects, predominately matboard, and Mrs. Cox organized them in a puzzle-like format, mimicking the wonderful Louise Nevelson. She mostly worked using a monochromatic color scheme, hence the greyish colors chosen. You will find wooden pieces cut from our new laser cutter to scrap pieces of old paintings, down to the boxes that our supplies get delivered in. Everything is art! Just appreciate the small and simple things that make something whole! Value: priceless
