Small Texas towns exist in snow globes, as time capsules of a simple, forgotten way of life, perfectly preserved by locals who are fiercely dedicated to keeping things “the way they were.” At the core of Shiner you’ll find delightful small businesses that still offer service with a smile and people that remember your name. One of those businesses is B’Marie Boutique & Coffee Bar, owned and operated by Brittney Boothe, an industrious shopkeeper who learned her trade through hard work. “I opened my boutique on a whim,” said Brittney. “I had no business model or experience. It took a lot of passion and determination. I never dreamed it would grow into what it is today. I have always been super involved, especially with the customers, and have always appreciated their feedback. Building a relationship with our customers is what keeps B’Marie thriving.” And that growth is what led Brittney to expand her boutique and begin serving Shiner specialty coffees in 2021. “The coffee bar has been such a huge success for welcoming new and different customers of all ages into the shop,” said Brittney. “We are happy to be able to offer our lovely community another great component to our shop and people are loving it.” Recently Brittney took things a step further, launching an event that brings businesses together in a fun, unique way. “Shiner Downtown Market Days was established because I saw a huge potential for our downtown,” added Brittney. “A lot of people associate our town with the brewery, which is great, but there is so much more Top, the street view of B'Marie in downtown to Shiner.
