Teachers Who Tutor is a teacher created organization designed to help students become academically confident and to nurture life-long learners. Their certified teachers deliver superior one-on-one instruction to help students gain academic confidence. They have over 70 tutors on their team that support students grades K-12 in all subject areas.

Brittany McKinsey and Lauren Griffith, owners of Teachers Who Tutor, started the company because they saw a need for tutoring support in the community. Class sizes continue to grow and the curriculum in school is fast-paced. The one-on-one tutoring approach can do wonders for students.

Collegiate Crossing’s mission is to empower young adults to make a difference in their communities. By providing expert college planning, they help students who might fall through the cracks leverage the power of postsecondary education to create opportunities they would not otherwise have.

Collegiate Crossings began out of the need to support high school counselors, students and families. Collegiate Crossings was designed to help alleviate the counselor’s caseload and focus specifically on college planning. It also began with the intent on serving low-income and first-generation students.

Erie UpLink is a charitable organization committed to linking Erie families with resources to fulfill their basic life needs, including connecting Erie families with opportunities to be of service to one another.

Our non-profit organization was founded in 2011 by three Erie moms who witnessed needs that were going unmet in our town. Knowing that Erie is a community with a real heart to care for one another, they formed Erie UpLink as a “link” between those who have a need and those who desire to give.

Erie Uplink supports Erie students by providing Tiger Packs filled with food for long breaks from school as well as educational support for qualifying needs.
