What Does

Triple Bottom Line Mean &

Why it Matters to Your Business Now

“Not innovating relentlessly” and “not prioritizing sustainability,” are 2 out of the top 10 reasons why businesses will fail in the next 10 years, as cited in a 2022 Forbes article Yet many small businesses don’t have the in-house expertise or time to focus on either .

In this session, Jaclyn R Mothupi will discuss the importance of sustainable business and illustrate how green business is smart business, as well as provide actionable ways to start on your business’s sustainability journey with no-cost, low-cost measures from a communications and operations standpoint As larger corporations continue to make sustainability commitments to meet shareholder demands, the value chains that supply these companies will feel this impact through mandatory reporting Being able to contribute to meeting their goals will set you apart from your competitors

Topics Include:

• What is Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG)?

• What are actionable steps small businesses can take to be more sustainable?

• What is the regulatory landscape that impacts this topic and how it impacts your business reporting?

• Learn why this topic is relevant even if sustainability is a priority of your company
