This event was a resounding success, where 44 kids under 14 years gave vent to their creative energy. The kids left looking forward to their next visit here. 1. What would be the lasting impression of your 25 years so far in Datamatics?

The count of my years now reads 28. Datamatics is an organization that cares, nurtures and gives you a sense of belonging. Datamatics has been fortunate to have Dr. Kanodia as the Founder Chief. It is his magnetic, charming and cultured personality that brought me to Datamatics

and made this my home.

Having executed more than 30 Migrations projects for CTC (an Itochu company) during that period, Datamatics was declared the Best Partner of CTC. Based on the Migration project for Hitachi, we won the Prime Minister's award in India. Migrations & Japanese business contributed to about a third of our revenue, then. I am currently responsible for Corporate Initiatives and Quality, and to help move the Organization up the Value Chain.

4. What has motivated you to be a stickler for punctuality and for efficient organization? Yes, I am present for meetings on the dot, and do not like meetings getting extended. Having spent more than a quarter of a century traveling internationally, I sure have learnt this from the West and from Japan that this makes us more productive. It is also other people's time that we need to respect.
