Some of the medical facilities planned by AROGYA Chikitshalaya are as follows OUT-PATIENT AND IN-PATIENT SERVICES The out-patient and in-patient services would comprise specialties and super specialties. The resident doctors would include orthopedic surgeon, physician, gynecologist, ENT surgeon, dentist, ophthalmologist, anesthetist, microbiologist and physiotherapist. MEDICAL CHECK UP Chikitshalaya will offer various health check-up facilities. This will include periodical medical check-up and health check–up. OPERATION THEATRE AND ICU The hospital will have a well equipped intensive care unit and critical burns care unit. It will be equipped with major and minor operation theater. DIAGNOSTIC FACILITIES Chikitshalaya will house a well equipped computerized pathology lab.

AMBULANCE SERVICES Round the clock fully equipped ambulance will be available including a cardiac ambulance. PHARMACY Chikitshalaya will have a 24 hours pharmacy unit with the availability of all emergency medicines. OUTREACH PROGRAMMES The hospital will also plan various outreach camps in the surrounding villages. Need based special camps relating to eye care, rehabilitation, dentistry, diabetes, asthma and tuberculosis etc would be organized by the hospital.

The social development initiatives of the JSW Group of companies are administered through the JSW Foundation. It is an independent institution and is governed by a Board of Trustees, drawn from the senior management of the JSW Group.

JSW is committed to allocate 1.5% of its PAT to pursue its CSR initiatives. JSW Foundation works closely with village communities and creates synergies with other verticals of the JSW Group.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT • The Group runs five schools. These are rigorous in their academic pursuits and also in promoting extra-curricular talent. • The Group has also initiated rural meritorious students’ scholarship, where JSW awarded the first three toppers of the Xth class at all locations. • The Foundation operates Sanjeevani Hospital, Vijayanagar, Karnataka. It offers

advanced diagnostic facilities to the neighboring villages. This includes state of the art operation theatre, ICU & Burns Unit and Trauma Care Unit. This is a 75 bed hospital with facility for the physically challenged and is operational since 2003. The hospital also operates various medical camps. • The Group appreciates the seriousness of malnourishment and is working with the ISKCON Food Relief Foundation and Akshaya Patra Foundation in providing mid-day meals to nearly 2 lakh rural children. • The Foundation has taken a sustained drive for sanitation programme at Ratnagiri. The Company has constructed individual toilets in Ratnagiri. The local self government in two of the project villages was recently felicitated by the President of India with the Nirmal Gram Puraskar.

Mid-day Meal - Akshaya Patra The Foundation constructed 300 individual toilets in Ratnagiri and are in the process of constructing more. • Vocational training: The Foundation currently operates two centres to provide vocational training to more than 500 young people. JSW Group has adopted 20 ITIs across the country. • Data Halli - Rural BPO: The Foundation has established a non voice rural BPO for young women from villages in the neighborhood of JSW’s Vijayanagar facility. These women are trained for computer skills and work on data entry and processing jobs. Presently 100 women are employed at the BPO. • A major initiative to get marriages registered and encourage a girl child has been launched in Rajasthan in partnership with NPSF, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India

HERITAGE CONSERVATION • Restoration of Krishna Temple - One of the most sustained engagements of the Foundation has been the restoration of the Krishna temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site at Hampi, Karnataka. • Sir JJ School of Art, Mumbai - The Foundation renovated the exterior of the building and then refurbished the interiors of the Fine Arts building. The project also included documentation and conservation of the valuable paintings and sculptures.
