The Poster Wall that was created in the concert hall of Szimpla, offers a special opportunity to present pieces of the Hungarian poster art. Besides presenting the classics of the genre and keeping this art form alive, it also became the centre of the autonomous poster art renaissance that is represented by many young designers today.
This space offers the opportunity to graphic artists and poster designers to show each other and the people from the street their autonomous world, their reflection of everyday gags and of social issues that interest them. Besides, they can present their “living” posters, the ones they create for actual commissions for theaters, events and programs etc.
