OUR ROOMS Our three rooms combine the richness of Rotterdam’s history with a contemporary décor and high-tech audio-visual equipment. The furniture arrangement can be suited to your needs and wishes while the high ornamental ceilings and the Rotterdam skyline are a splendid bonus. You can host a meeting or enjoy an intimate dinner in the Elie van Rijckevorsel room. The Ballroom and Salon can be used for large conferences, parties, or dinners. If some of your guests are unable to attend your event at the venue, we can even turn it into a hybrid event with livestreams that allow all your guests to join a product presentation or seminar.

ELIE VAN RIJCKEVORSEL ROOM
Meeting and dining in a setting that shows more than 165 years of Rotterdam history, overlooking the Kop van Zuid. That is why the Wereldmuseum is such a unique venue. The Elie van Rijckevorsel room, named after one of the museum’s founders, physicist and world traveller Dr. Elie van Rijckevorsel (1845-1928), is situated on the fourth floor of our heritage building. You can have your meeting in a quiet setting while the ships pass by on the river Meuse. PRACTICAL INFO ACCESSIBILITY The Wereldmuseum is located in the Scheepvaartkwartier, on the corner of the Willemskade and Veerhaven. The museum is easily accessible by car, public transport and even by water. The river shuttle, river taxi and Spido jetties are within walking distance. PARKING There is only paid parking in the immediate vicinity of the museum. You can also use the Erasmusbrug parking garage at Gedempte Zalmhaven and the Van Vollenhovenstraat parking garage, both of which are within 450 meters of the museum.
