WKPP Continues To Invest In Youth Summer Programme
To reduce the number of incidents related to gang violence and other illicit activities within the communities, the Denham Town Police Station hosts an annual summer camp for children in West Kingston. Though not uncommon to other inner-city residences, this community is plagued with economic and social ills which contribute to the retardation of citizen-police relationship, indiscipline, social decay and increased levels of crime and violence. WKPP plays its part by contributing to the Summer Camp which is aimed at providing a structured learning environment to enhance learning through various skills. The Company is proud to be instrumental in the reduction of the number of crimes committed by this cohort of teenagers. WKPP achieves such reduction through the annual sponsorship of the learning programme. Representatives of WKPP will be present at the Opening Ceremony slated for July 2018. A total of J$250,000.00 was approved for this donation.

FOR EXEMPLARY WORK ETHICS
Congratulations To Jason Reid & Nikolas Brown!
Jason Reid
When asked by his colleagues to describe his personality, echoed is the word humble. Humility supersedes all traits, his quiet nature makes him approachable and trainable. Jason, also known as Reidy, is a respectable and reliable WKPP employee, who can be counted on for just about anything. A teacher to many of the technicians, as he is an innovator at heart, Jason is always thinking outside the box to get the job done more efficiently. He is serious and enthusiastic about his work and not afraid to get his hands dirty, if necessary. Many say he goes above and beyond to get the job done and motivates
Jason Reid
his peers and subordinates to do the same. Additionally, Reidy is known for saying “silent rivers run deep” and we can all attest to him being a quiet storm, however, never shy with words and holds the knowledge to support his arguments. Nikolas Brown AKA Biscuit It is safe to say, Nikolas Brown is WEBB approved! His attention to detail; thorough and precise work orders and attitude towards work has definitely qualified him for this category. He is respected by his fellow co-workers, as he is never boastful, quick to ask for assistance and seeks information if needed. Also called Biscuit, Nikolas is known for taking initiative even before he receives a work order. He will call the shift supervisor to find out what needs to be done and immediately fulfills his tasks.
Nikolas Brown
As part of WKPP’s goal to recognize and reward employees for their contributions to the company; the Social and Welfare Committee would like to salute Jason and Nikolas for exemplary work ethics!
