New LED Headlight Assemblies Made for the Modern Trucker in a Timeless Truck TRUX’s state of the art LED Projector Headlight Assemblies are the latest innovation for classic styled trucks seeking a modern new look. TRUX has created an assembly with the highest grade of forward lighting; utilizing LED projector technology, which is twice as bright as standard LED headlights and four times as bright as halogen bulbs. The secret of LED projector technology is the powerful Cree LEDs that face the back of the light and reflect off a mirror to bounce a wider and stronger beam pattern forward. Not only are these headlight assemblies incredibly bright, but they’re unmatched in style as well. They’re the first ever headlights for classic trucks to have LED white daytime running HALOs. Every car and truck owner loves the new white HALO look, and up until now, any truck similar to a Peterbilt 379 or Kenworth W900, didn’t have this very cool feature. ATTEN...TION! THE GENERAL Introducing “The General” by TRUX Accessories; our 2017 show truck built as a tribute to the military and all that it stands for. It’s recognition of the hard work, sacrifice and honor for our men and women in uniform. It also signifies military grade; the highest possible quality for parts, which is a standard TRUX strives for. Since September, the TRUX team led by Josh Foster, in collaboration with K&W Truck Repair, has been working long hours to complete this frame off build. The body of the truck has received a serious facelift. The original 72” Aerodyne sleeper was replaced with an 86” studio sleeper. We also had Valley Chrome build a custom bumper and installed TRUX’s HALO LED Light Bar; in addition, we added Dual Revolution load lights to the back of the sleeper, a flush mount deck plate and extensions to the bottom side fairings. “The General” is the one and only Kenworth T660 full Aero package with side skirts to have side mounted stacks. Sounds impossible but with TRUX, anything is possible! By merging Kenworth parts and Peterbilt elbows together we were able to make a functional exhaust system that not only works with, but compliments the factory mounts, brackets and fairings. As if that wasn’t enough, TRUX Accessories has been working with Rockhard Powder Coating on producing a new limited line of trim accessories with black powder coating. You’ll notice that every piece of aluminum, and stainless on “The General” has been powder coated in a flat black armor type coating. In the last few years, show trucks owners have taken their stainless trims and painted them, which possibly led to paint chipping due to the paint not sealing well on stainless. Alternatively, owner operators have utilized fiberglass painted pieces that didn’t allow many trims to be compatible for their truck. Stainless pieces may have lost their shine and luster but they didn’t lose their unique appearance. The idea of using black powder coating on stainless allows for your part to have longevity and more variety than fiberglass components.

CHROMENATION

To go with the TRUX blackout stainless trims and panels are the brand new Black Raven Dual Revolution LED Series that also have a blacked-out finish. These Dual LEDs go from D.O.T. regulation to different colors, (such as green, purple, & blue); an extreme look that will have your friends agreeing that you now have the most badass truck around!

NEW BLACK RAVEN DUAL LEDS “The General” will always respect the law with the amber or red D.O.T. functions but when he is at ease at a show or truck stop, you will be able to see his true color, GREEN, with the flip of a switch. The paint color by Twins Body Shop and decals by Dynamic Design are what binds the look of the truck, clearly stating TRUX’s message of reinforcing military grade quality. Most importantly, this show truck is a sincere tribute to all of our military personnel who have fought so heroically for our rights, freedoms and security. A lesson we cannot forget! GETTING TO KNOW THE DRIVER There are not many men like Sean McEndree. This man has been through so much, and has seen more than any civilian will ever encounter, yet he still remains very humble. Most people would protest “War, War what is it good for” and then you talk to someone whose been there and that’s when you realize for them it’s not a war, it’s a chance to make a difference. It’s a chance to protect innocent people from the enemy. This all comes with a heavy price that he and many other fellow soldiers experience when returning from a battle. For some, it means their lives, for others, physical injuries and for most, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Sean McEndree’s mission was to serve and protect, something he took very seriously and heroically. Unfortunately, on April 9, 2004, when dismounting his convoy, his platoon was ambushed and a road side bomb detonated, changing Sean’s life forever. He sustained several life threating injuries, but with the help of a Medic Pilot (MP), he was medevaced to have an important surgery that saved his life. Since then, his mission changed to embracing life and educating civilian people on the after effects of war. For Sean, it’s to tribute his fellow soldiers by raising awareness of PTSD.

CHROMENATION

He expresses his message everyday while driving his 2006, Peterbilt 379, Band of Brothers truck. The detail and design on this truck has so much meaning. For example, the purple heart placed on the hood of the truck is a personal homage to Sean and other wounded soldiers who received this award for being wounded in combat. Dan Brown from DB Kustoms has brought Sean’s inspiration to life, with 7 months of restoration to create this beauty. Band of Brothers was an extreme restoration from exterior to interior. The exterior light show is definitely eye catching with TRUX Dual Revolution technology, allowing the truck to go from D.O.T. red/amber to purple at the flip of a switch. The Dual Revolution LEDs are found on the entire exterior of Sean’s truck, even underneath, giving the effect that the truck is on a purple stage. TRUX never thought of making D.O.T. to purple auxiliary LEDS because we had just come out with the blue duals and were waiting to see if people would like them; therefore, Sean propelled the idea for TRUX to develop a purple series, which has now morphed into a green series as well. The Band of Brothers truck is equipped with TRUX Dual LEDs, as well as the LED projector headlights with HALO accents. Not only are these stylish headlights more efficient, but the projector component allows for broader visibility. This allows the driver to see any obstruction on the shoulder of the road and avoid any unforeseen collisions.

Overall the Band of Brothers has everyone’s attention with accents of stainless trims that just highlight the contour of the windows, lights, exhaust and bumper. The purple full double hump fenders and purple LED skirt kits are essential elements that don’t over power the mural that adds to Sean’s powerful message about PTSD awareness. Sean may have been wounded but his great strength and perseverance is what made him find a platform to speak for himself and fellow soldiers. The Band of Brothers is not his 1st restore. He had two others (Fallen Heroes and Fallen Heroes II) that were also tributes to his time in the war. Sean would like to thank everyone who has contributed in making his dream come to creation, He couldn’t have done any of this without the support of his family and sponsors.
