Balloon play at Back to School Bash
Tryon Daily Bulletin editor Samantha Hurst had her twin baby girls Saturday, Aug. 11 at Pardee Hospital in Hendersonville, N.C. The twins, whose names are Averett Olivia and Madeline Elise, weighed 3 pounds 10 ounces and 4 pounds 2 ounces. Both mother and twins are doing well.

Sarenity and Omar Carson play with balloons at the annual Back to School Bash held Saturday, Aug. 11 at Tryon United Methodist Church. The church organized free school supplies for the first 300 kids, in addition to free hot dogs and icees, inflatable slides and other activities.
